I think you're close Sham, but not 100% correct. The thing that makes the WestFlyers special is that they aren't beta baby bitches. .
Westfly is worse. They are wannabes playing make believe. We might as well call them "Gregs".

I want you to post this on your Facebook right now. If you don’t, you’re just some beta on an anonymous message board.
Alphas only.
You DONT know the vibe.

Facebook? Is that where the omegas hang out? Greg? Don't get your panties in a bunch. Greg?
These guys are not even flexing, how can we tell where their true muscle is? And yeah, relative to other runners, these dudes are MASSIVE, easily make solinsky and Webb look frail
Sham...at the top of the US ranks, Drew Hunter has one of the worst kicks, which is why he hasn't won a championship race since HS. (Excluding his indoor 2-mile that he won from the B-heat and definitely did not kick)
Now, look at Centro, who closed in a 50.xx to win the Olympics. He is lean but not even remotely close to what you are describing.
To further demonstrate that your point is incorrect, look at some of the fastest 400m athletes, Jeremy Wariner, or Wayde Van Niekirk, and you will see that they are not jacked. A few days ago we saw Bryce Hoppel run 1:43 indoors for the second fastest time in US History and is more lean than Brazier (also not jacked.)
The point is, being ripped is not a requirement to run fast, as most of the top middle distance talent in the world 400m-5k are not as ripped as the Betas in this video.
theyre d1 athletes, some of them under 4 for a mile. they are fast.
This is just too over the top. I understand trying to play the villain for likes/subscribers/views/building brand, etc., but most of this attitude just comes off as tacky.

Looks like they are all on thyroid supplements like Galen, Matt and others were with AS and Dr. JB (by their own admission).
You're probably just an insecure beta.
So you don't deny the use of thyroid medications?

Anyone who talks about being alpha is not, and never will be, an alpha. These guys are clowns who can't even afford clown shoes.

The kid has his niche. I'll take this over Zach Levet's sweet boy, power of positivity schtick all day.
Let him find his audience.
Y'all don't know what being alfa really is.
Also being super lean isn't muscular. LFMAO.
True alfas don't need to prove shlit. Now go home drink some beer and put some hair on your chest.
I wouldn’t necessarily say muscles first, running later but muscles are important. I was a 1:56 800 meter runner in high school but I only trained for track for 3 1/2 months per year after basketball season ended. I also split 49 high on the 4x400 but I was pretty skinny and did no weight training. I used to look at the anchor men of the faster 4x400 teams and think to myself that they looked different from me. Turns out they were stud football players who both played in the nfl and I could not hang with them. The difference was strength. I had some speed but could not hold it very long even though I split 49. I was like a car with a speedometer that goes up to 120mph but the car really shouldn’t be driven faster than 70.
In high school I remember running a 200 in practice one day and while I could tell that my turnover was good I could also tell that I wasn’t covering as much ground as I thought I should be. That’s because my strides were not powerful. That’s because I wasn’t a strong athlete. My lack of strength probably caused me around a second or two in both my 400 and 800 times. I walked on at a PAC-12 school where they threw me into the cross country program and although we lifted the mileage sapped my strength and I did not have the energy to lift the way I should have.
Bottom line, if you’re not a strong athlete you’re not a comolete athlete and that goes for distance runners too.
Correction...”not a complete athlete.”

I believe you, but at the same time, when you look at all the best sprinters, they all have clearly visible muscle.
This is to provide counter-torque to the power output from the legs. The force vectors intersect in the middle of the torso, and summate to produce an efficient forward vector.
But I see your point. I myself believe a strong upper body to be essential, not so much for fast running, much has too many variables, but on avoiding injury.
Latissmus dorsi, for example, directly links the upper extremities with the pelvic girdle and is the only muscle to do so. It also links anteriorly from the upper insertion to a very broad posterior origin including posterior ribs, spinous processes of T7-L5 and posterior iliac crest. I feel well-trained lats to be an overlooked aspect of maintaining good running form.
