Exactly. It's not fair to expect Spencer, with a 3:39 PB to be doing the same workouts/volume as Josh Kerr (3:32 PB).
This also has the potential to be a great case study where we can see how an above average, but not standout, college athlete (who still probably wouldn't normally get to train with a group like the Beasts) reacts/develops to pro training. It's not often that you get to see a 3:39 guy join one of the best pro groups out there and get to follow along with his progression. Who knows, if he gets down into the low 3:30s, maybe you'll see more collegians get a chance at a pro deal because coaches will see they can develop those kids into better athletes.
