Once BYU is full strength i think they are gonna do super well, honestly i think aiden troutner and easton allred are under performing by quite a bit, so once they get to full strength they will have a serious battle with nau, where I believe it will come down to the last runners, where BYUs depth might take another dub,
also is anyone else lowkey annoyed by nico youngs ability to run fast but inability to move his arms and legs in a straight motion?
I have no direct insider information. But I've been hearing Troutner has a nagging injury. I think we'll have to wait til November to see a full-strength Troutner.
Easton Allred is an incredible talent. His problem is his mileage. He's had a lot of injuries in the past, and it appears he's easing in pretty slowly to college level fitness. He just doesn't have the volume to be successful at this level right now.
BYU is facing long odds because of their #5 position. Their top 4 are fantastic. But they'll need all the top 4 guys to run really well(no bombs like 2016/2017) AND they'll need an incredible performance from someone at #5. Stranger things have happened. It's just unlikely.
