Is this meet being livestreamed anywhere? I don't see anything listed for it.
Any chance the Grote Poll will return with a special COVID edition? I miss reading about Stanfurd!

It’s funny how Stanford could run at home against USF and other local schools with driving distance but instead fly across the country during the pendemic.
And this is why XC is getting dumped.
Not sure why you're confused. Tallahassee is the home of the XC National Championships in 9 months. Why wouldn't you race the course as part of your preparation?
Would any other sport give up that opportunity so that they can compete at an inconsequential local event? Or does NCAA XC not rate as a real sport in your mind?
Syracuse is going to get run thru. To further prove ACC was not a mistake but rather a true representation of their current level.
Dudek will win tomorrow.
How did 4 Kenyans end up on Iowa State's roster?
Anyone have knowledge of their recruiting strategy? Is this a deliberate strategy or did they all kind of refer each other?
Iowa is a tiny state with a tiny talent pool. I'm assuming coaches realize they have no shot of being good with local/regional talent so they take the easy way out.
Really? Current NCAA runners from Iowa that would easily form a national qualifying team:
Matt Carmody SO Notre Dame, 13:56, Notre Dame's 5th man at nationals last year
Ryan Murphy SR, Arkansas, 29:07, Arkansas' 3rd man at nationals last year
Thomas Pollard SR, Iowa State, 14:01, Iowa State's 5th man at nationals last year
Jeremy Fopma JR, NAIA XC National Champ 2020
Jackson Lewis SR, Arizona State 8:03
Max Murphy FR, Iowa, 4:06 mile, NXN Qualifier last year
Also, did you realize that Karissa Schweizer and Shelby Houlihan are the 2 fastest US runners in history and both are from Iowa? How about the NCAA record holder in 10k? She is from Iowa and ran for Iowa State.
Look at their track roster for outdoor this year. They actually have 6 Kenyans. Flotrack has picked them to win outdoor.
They finished 2nd to Oregon in the DMR last week using 3 transfers but only 1 Kenyan. Gomez is a former D2 guy and he handed off in 2:49 in front of Hocker. Getting transfers from JUCO and D2 and other lower level D1 schools is not that hard if you use your guys to help and you have a recruiting coordinator who takes his job seriously.
Kiptoo through 5k at 13:59
Stanford has 5 guys ahead of Iowa State's 2nd, and Syracuses's first, top 2 are freshman Sprout and Hicks
Iowa State coming from behind. They were in 8th at 1k, now in 2nd.
Stanford running with 4 freshmen in the top 25
Looks the Clones going to get 2nd.
Also LOz to the guy who said the state of Iowa has not talent
Syracuse 7th. Yikes
Aubrey Roberts 108 at 1K?
