Okay that is an interesting challenge.
For starters your 2:55 PR is great but not necessarily helpful for a 100 miler.
You need a total different mindset and I would guess a month is not enough to gain the experience.
Start with a 9:30 pace and start walking breaks early enough. This is soooo much longer than a Marathon so be prepared for some rough hours and a lot of up and downs. Have enough clothes to change in your support vehicle. Break the run down in different parts. Make sure you have a couple of different plans if things go south. I think you easily get under 24 hours but there might be a couple of hours in between where you might think you want to give up right now.
This will be all decided in your head. You have strong legs but I have beaten a lot of sub 3 hour runners in 24 hour races. They are fast but they can't deal with the adversity of an ultra.
So start slow, eat and drink enough but not too much and keep moving. Expect your time plan go bust and have a couple of different ones, so that you can adapt.
This will be a lot more difficult than your 2:55 PR.
Good luck and please report back when you are done with it.
