Up until last week, my plan for the next few months was to build towards a half marathon in early May, but that has now been cancelled, - (well it's a virtual race now, but no thanks). I had prepared a training plan with the aim of breaking 1:25, (I ran 1:26 last year in a TT).
I'm now caught in 2 minds whether or not to just go ahead with the training plan and maybe run a TT in place of the race, and see what improvements I can make. But the main thing I think I'll struggle with is motivation.
Also, (in case it matters), my long term goal for the year is to break 3 hours for the marathon. I have a race booked which will hopefully be going ahead in September. Potentially a 10K or half marathon about a month before, but not much else for the year right now.
