I am in my late 20s, well almost 30 and have started training again consistently over the last year. I got kinda chubby over the last few years but can manage now 50mpw and today dropped a 5:20 mile in the middle of a run just for fun. I usually run 7-8min miles on runs. Have not done a workout in idk how many years faster than today.
Anyways, I am feeling ‘fit’ but still can’t lose the weight. I can drop sub 7 miles on any run no problem but still fat. I don’t get it. The more i run and the faster I go I look the same. I get that it is just diet now but I do not understand if I can get down to my training paces when I was fastest while being 30 pounds overweight how I am still at this fuggin fat
