Hunter improves his #2 UO A-T mark
Brown moves up from #6 to #5, passing Sam Prakel
Slagowski might have peaked in high school but Reed Brown didn’t. Glad to see him doing well.

Other notable athletes on their team: Austin Tamagno has run 4:00, and Jackson Mestler has run 3:59. Best school for Milers in the country

Best school for talented milers*** in the country
What is Teare running today? Are we going to see a 7:40 3000m?
I'm betting sub 7:40

Teare is amazing and just getting started, but I think his best mile is 3:55.5, from last year, unless you count running 9.3 meters less, with a running start.
A 1600 relay split is not the same as a mile individual race.
Teare and Hocker both 7:46. Impressive by Hocker being able to kick with Teare

Tamagno anchored their B team in 4:15. This is a guy who peaked in high school.
Someone ran 2:49 last night . Finally proving that 253 isn’t the best you can run in a lead off leg
Any of them have chance to break Bill McChesney’s UO 5000 record of 13:14 that was set in 1982.
Teare will crush it.
Hocker with the 2:49 1200m / 7:46 3k double. That's some range. Strikes me as an Andy Bayer type.

Since tamagno has only improved by 7 seconds in the past 6 years, I wouldn't probably count on him to he part of any scoring for the ducks. Kind of tough when you have clearly plateaued to score if you're currently the 7th best on your team. Not that I'm knocking 4 flat in the mile, its great. But he is surrounded by people a level above him.
It would be cool to see them try a 4x mile record outdoors. With potentially not a lot of meets, it might make sense to give it a try. The current WR averages 3:57.3, so they'd have a real shot at it, but it wouldn't be a gimme, tough getting 4 guys all to hit on the same day while running solo, since presumably there wouldn't be much competition to run with, with a WR pace, past the first leg.
Of course, the 3x1500 relay is a stronger record, averaging 3:35 per leg. I dont see that as possible.
