There's plenty of well-cushioned zero drop Altras (I think the Torin is a good shoe for recovery days), there's no need to alternate between 10mms and 0mms and it could possibly get you injured.
Torin and Paradigm. Torin (28mm stack height) is effectively Altra’s version of the Hoka Clifton, just with more forefoot stack. The Paradigm is even higher stack (30mm I believe?) and with some stability elements.
You should not be wanting for stack height in Altra’s lineup.
It’s also reasonable to want a different shoe to change up muscle demands, but I would go with a low drop shoe, not a high drop. Thanks too big a swing for many people (though a guy in my club uses mostly Altra Escalantes and Nine Zoom Flys?). No more than 6mm drop (Hoka, some NB, Skechers, some Saucony models, etc...) is what is generally recommended. I have a pair of NB Rebels for a change-up.
