Is the marathon goes ahead in Japan NO MATTER WHAT. The Japanese love their marathons let them keep it.
All the other track is moved to New York City.

True! Maybe Gregory should be adapted into a Japanese anime.
My god man, have you forwarded this plan to the IOC?
Someone will figure it out.

This sounds a lot like the time you solved the Coronavirus problem for the world:

How to conquer and eliminate the Corona Virus
Alright, I was in New York city last month and saw this outbreak first hand.
At my hotel it seemed each passing day brought in more masked people, most of whom were oriental.
It's possible (though what are the odds?) I came into contact with a carrier, but I am not going in to get tested.
This may sound easier said than done, but, I believe this issue can be a mind over matter kind of thing.
Greg, I can't believe that you recommend New York.
I am working with the Edmonton School Atletics to bring the Games to Edmonton this summer.
That will also secure me another term as a mayor.
If you drop in my office in the next days I can show you the full presentation.
I think they should be cancelled and just pick back up with the cycle in 2024. Skipping a 4 year cycle isn't a big deal. In 200 years when they look back it would be a footnote much like the missed Olympics due to the World Wars.

Yeah but in 200 years we will all look back and realize that the 2020 Tokyo Olympics could have been saved. We had a solution sitting right in front of us - Greg's solution. What numbskulls we were not to have utilized Greg's solution!
The problem with the olympics is there is too much junk.
Cut the schedule down to track and field and swimming only and it could easily go ahead...

The problem is the general public. They like all kinds of different sports. What's wrong with these people?
Virtual Olympics.
Will there be a Marathon for one leg hoppers as well?
Asking for a friend in town.
