Youtuber Edd Bud liked it even though it came in at over 14 ounces in US size 12.
Adidas lists the weight as 12 ounces for size 9.
Always been a big fan of Ultraboost for everyday miles, they’re a great shoe... However, the price is ridiculous, they’ve increased by about 160% over the last two years and they are definitely not worth £160.
The weight of the shoe is flirting with a pound. Seriously, it’s over 400 grams!
Lighter than the Army boots that Zatopek trained in sometimes. If a training shoe feels good to run in, heavy isn't bad. Heavy is arguably a good thing. It makes racing shoes feel that much lighter, and faster, and often is more durable. That used to be something runners said until the explosion of everyone being a shoe reviewer recently. Weight has become over emphasized because it's the easiest thing to measure.

How much did training shoes weigh back in he 1980s/1990s?
Looks even worse than the other ultraboosts already are for running. Good lifestyle model maybe.
Back in the 1980s shoes weren’t heavy but generally had very little cushion. Today’s runners would not wear shoes like the NB 320, Brook Chariot or Tiger Onitsuka Nairobi. By today’s standards these shoes are not even cushioned enough for racing. I guess our legs just got tough

I seem to remember 12.x ounces being typical, 10.x ounces being light, but there were also really lightweight trainers like the Converse Lydiard Equinox.
Here's the Nike 1985 catalog. Too bad it didn't have weights listed. I had the Zoom X spike on page 15 (page 10 scan of the pdf). When I finally put it on a scale 15-20 years later, I found was a porker at something like 9.8 ounces for my size (around 10 mens, but labeled 11):
https://sq210.blogspot.com/2013/02/nike-1985-catalog.htmlThey look decent, albeit outrageously heavy. But there's probably about 30 other daily trainers out this year that are more exciting.

Only going to get worse post-Brexit, mate!

Nobody cares.
Philipp Pflieger has been mostly training in the Ultraboost for easy runs since version 19, and ran a 2:12 marathon off it.
It's top notch for easy/recovery/non-specific long runs, but as someone said, you gotta be rich to buy them consistently. There are cheaper options.

Says the hypocritical tools who pay people to tell them how to run and then pay $200+ for racing shoes that quit at 150 miles.
It is a crap shoe. Heavy and bulky and only of use if you weigh over 200 lbs...

Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
