Background:
Just a college kid with no talent who wants to run something respectable. Been running for about 7 or 8 years. 2019 I worked with a good private coach for about 6 months (May - Oct) where I consistently ran 60ish miles per week and had some huge jumps in fitness. Unfortunately got mono in October and wasn't able to run for months, tried to come back in January and hurt my knee. I decided to take a significant break from running and only ran occasionally for fun. In the summer I was in Boulder for a week with some friends and I ran a 100 mile week off slow doubles and decided I'd give running another try soon. Started training again at the end of November.

Workouts have been just cycling through variations of tempos, fartleks, and mile repeats. Sometimes do 2 steady runs instead of a workout.
I take my easy days very easy often running slower than 8 minute pace.
