Hardcore running/hiking/mountain sports, etc...is such a niche slice of the pie. Apple has never been about chasing those niches. They’re chasing the 95+% of the market who are casual practitioners of those sports. Occasionally the product catches up to swallow those markets but there will always be hardcore features that Apple won’t chase.
While the traditional adventure/endurance sport wearable brands make much better products for our purposes, it’s also undeniable that they’re light years behind Apple in fit, finish, and UI Design.
Hell, Apple’s bands and straps are better, and better quality, than those of most 5 figure Swiss, German, and Japanese brands. It’s insane and the entire watch industry should be embarrassed that they’re being shown up by a tech brand making a glorified calculator watch.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?

How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?

Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
