A better mobile solution to view the boards. Doesn't have to be an app, but right now they are borderline unusable on a phone.

Every thread that is over 90 days old gets locked. People can start a new thread that refers to it if they want.
How about every week a moderator can start a thread where they just vent about anything, whether it be how much it sucks to be a moderator, or whatever else they want to vent about. The moderator could be anonymous and maybe nobody else could post in the thread but at least it would convey some notion possibly about what goes through their minds as they delete some posts or threads and leave others up. Plus it would permit them to vent as I alluded to. Call it the Moderator’s Vent if you will. Maybe in some cases they could comment on the running scene. Or they could explain why certain posters get banned. Just a thought.

2nd this suggestion. and the ads are annoying af on mobile.
How about WAY less political stuff.... or allow posters to filter it out. Covid crap too.
Next 100 days?
With the Olympics coming up, a series of well researched articles on who gets selected, especially the distance events. And not just the Americans.
how about you reel in that serial liar Jamin, and how about you not let a lie like this stay up for 2 hours now (and yes it was reported immediately):
"Biden already throws in the towel on coronavirus: "There’s nothing we can do""
This is misquoted, and that has been pointed out to the OP and he refuses to change it.
It is essentially a lie. It is plagiarism. It is common for that poster and one can only wonder why moderators let it continue.
We would really like to know.
Respect and the ability to see the person I’m interacting with ...In other words, I would love to see a profile pic of the person I’m having a deep conversation with on this site. Is that even possible???
1: Hire Kyle Merber as LRC's first Race Director. There's a need for track races, road races, and hobby jogger all-comers track meets. Fill the void. Kyle needs a job.
2: When a post gets deleted please give reason immediately.
3: Hire Alexi Pappas to write a weekly poem for LRC users who appreciate her incredible talent.
4: Hire Suzy-Favor Hamilton to write weekly training column, with pics of course.
5: More interviews of runners who have bigger dreams than their running talents. And are not likely to make it the the Olympics or qualify for a US team.
6: Hire an additional crack writer who doesn't have an accent from across the pond and voted for Donald Trump to balance out your writing staff.
7: More politics. More Canadian screenwriters. More bun huggery. Less political correctness.
After a podcast, the guest should answer forum questions for a short period of time. Maybe it's a premium feature.
Might be a longshot, but I'd pay $200 to listen to Galen on the podcast. He's been much more open to interviews since Smith became his coach.

I’d like to see some interviews with some LR MB posters, the great ones and the more controversial ones.
In the case of the former, it’d be interesting to know more about the background of folks even if they are quite well known (malmo) or less well known (HRE). Profiles of the ‘love em or hate em’ type regular posters would be interesting and might reduce a little of the hating on the boards?
Finally agree with the earlier comment on Jon Gault, his long reads are absolutely brilliant.
Give Gault total control over the non-message board content.
Give Harambe total control over the message board content.
how about a little illegal sports betting on running events?

How about not?

Where to run guide wrote:
Similar to your shoe review guide, make a comprehensive guide of the best places to run in certain areas. I travel a lot and spend tons of time perusing old threads looking for this information and I have found that nowhere on the web has a full guide to this. Many HIKING trail recommendations but many of these places are terrible for running.
Have it be user submitted with pictures, maps, best routes, etc. Would be the best thing added to this site ever.
If I knew anything about making a website I would do it myself.
I’ve wanted to do something like this for a while.
Tom Courtney interview. He's 87 and not getting younger. Last U.S. 400m-800m man to earn Olympic gold medal.
