Another grim milestone yet so many keep calling it a hoax and go about there lives like one of the worst pandemics in the history of the world is happening right in front of their eyes. How he’d is it to stay at home and wear a mask when you aren’t at home!!??
I will keep wearing my mask but I will also continue to do all of the things I did before the pandemic as I have been. Other than the mask, my life has not changed much at all other than stimulus money, less crowded on the plane, less traffic jambs, restaurants with plenty of room, and nobody in the movie theaters other than my family and I.
Yes, there is some stuff that is closed that I used to do but I have just replaced it with other activities.
My family and I keep our distance from people and wear masks and we have been lucky to have not contracted it. We get tested often and are surprised. We have traveled all over the country in our camper, and have flown to numerous destinations. Our friends think we are crazy but many have them have contracted the virus while we were away even though they are too scared to go anywhere but the store.
The difference between me and seemingly everyone else is that I understand that I am mortal. I am 50. 20-30 years left at best is not a lot of time. I am not going to waste what I have left waiting. Everyone is going to die sooner or later. What exactly am I protecting myself or anyone else for that matter? A premature death?
It's better to have lived than have waited around for death. If that is what you would like to do I will not stop you. You don't have to breath the same air as me because you will be hiding in your house. That's your right. I am not denying there is a pandemic, I am just choosing to live my life. That's my right.
