I’m not sure you have “thoughts” so much as a few childish phrases bouncing around an empty flesh-drum.

I'm a little confused, I thought prioritizing the purchase of American products was bad for international trade with our allies and xenophobic. Could a Biden voter explain this about-face? We're just doing too much spinning for me to keep up.

It's dumb, agreed. Free trade = good.

It's more simple than many make it! Gains from free trade policies can easily offset affected industries. Assuming competent government of course. (I guess that last part made it complicated)

This is only limited to purchases from the federal government, so it's not like we're throwing free trade out the window. The situation is complex when considering issues of supply chain security, national security, certain IP (for instance NASA and JPL pretty much exclusively buy American), and the fact that pretty much every country in the EU does it. And also China, who we're pretty much in a Cold War with now.
Ultra-free globalist trade was cool in the 90s but the narrative has started to shift towards using a more nuanced approach.

It's easy to make gains when you're buying products made from slave-labor, Harambe.
Not true. You’re just running cover for Grandpa. Has anyone admitted that we sent troops into conflict on is first day in office yet? Wake up sheep before it’s too late
Sorry folks, but the guy has got only 9 pages and he's already 5 days in. At this rate he's not even gonna hit 700 pages in 4 years, assuming the 25th doesn't get him first. Total flop.

Biden beat Trump in large part because went out to vote AGAINST Trump. The Trump forum was extremely popular because people spoke in large AGAINST Trump. Just about the only thing we all agreed on is that we all wanted to talk about him. Hence his thread being super popular.
Biden, in comparison to Trump, has been very very boring. And that is a great thing. With Trump gone from Twitter and out of office the temperature in this country has been turned down. If we get 4 years like Biden's first week, this thread will die.......and other similar topics may not last long.....and LRF will be all the better for it.
Will this thread have more posts than the Trump thread?
Hunter Biden to be nominated for DEA position according to Republican Florida Congressman. Hopefully just joke/conspiracy theory.

Sorry Mr. 2600, but you've lost your posting privileges by being in the bottom .01% intelligence bracket on these message boards. At this rate, you're just continuing to make a fool out of yourself. Total flop.
Who else thinks Biden's dogs are a national security threat? Trump obviously took the job more seriously.................
Can we thank Biden for saving the LRC boards then? That would be his greatest acheivement!

The Trump thread was popular because it was Boomerpole's full-time job to keep it active

The beauty of free trade is that we can now use our market power to lobby for better working conditions in developing countries.
Also sweatshop >>>> subsistence agriculture. Grim, but true!
Anyway. Weak comeback. Like 1990s level protectionist mantras. 2/10!
totally normal, GOP, totally normal.
If you are a party that intends to continue pushing for violent overthrow of the government.
(CNN)Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before being elected to Congress, a CNN KFile review of hundreds of posts and comments from Greene's Facebook page shows.
Greene, who represents Georgia's 14th Congressional District, frequently posted far-right extremist and debunked conspiracy theories on her page, including the baseless QAnon conspiracy which casts former President Donald Trump in an imagined battle against a sinister cabal of Democrats and celebrities who abuse children.
In one post, from January 2019, Greene liked a comment that said "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked comments about executing FBI agents who, in her eyes, were part of the "deep state" working against Trump.

Again, that has turned out to not be as apparent as was originally thought in the 80s and 90s.
