new high in the 7 day moving average: 2.16 million per day
I think we should have been well above 3 million per day by now. The rollout has been slow.
Here in GA we increased our "at least one dose" percentage by 0.2% today. Awesome job Kemp. smh At least in Fulton County 22% have had at least one shot. It's amazing how low some of the surrounding counties are - 4-5%. Good news is that 60% of people aged 65+ have received at least one dose which is probably close to the max that are willing to get it here.
At least our cases are going down at a faster rate than the national average over the last 2 weeks.
GA: Down 27% (Down 79% from peak)
US: Down 12% (Down 76% from peak)
And our positivity rate is down to 6% which is half a percent higher than the lowest it has been during the pandemic.
If we could get people vaccinated, we would be in very good shape.
