Pork is by definition, legislation that affects a local area. So nothing you identified is pork as they all affect the entire nation. But thank you for being specific.
For now let's discuss you objection to free community college and universal pre-K. Are you opposed to public education in general or do you just think expansion of public education is a bad idea?
Would two-years of free community college also come with free access to the recreational facilities of the college like the gym, pool, etc.? I haven't heard that there would be any minimum performance standard grade wise, so why not just enroll for free, use the facilities for free and blow off the classes?
From what I've read, the minimum performance standard is a high school diploma or GED. That could be problematic in itself, but one could make the argument that community colleges often serve as "13th grade" anyway as they cater to students who still need to learn what they should have picked up in high school.
Of course, there are many excellent students that go to community college for a variety of reasons, with the most common one being lower cost.
So I think community colleges would need to adapt to an influx of students with a wider variety of educational needs. "13th grade" is still a valid need for many students.
As for whether students would enroll just get access to the recreational facilities, I think that could be dealt with pretty easily at the school level by putting in place some academic requirements for use of those facilities.
