How is it an infrastructure bill if it is providing a tax credit of $12,500? Isn't infrastructure roads and bridges?

Budget deficits have been slashed? LOL. Put your clown outfit on Agip. The deficit pre-Covid was $1 trillion. 2021 - $3 trillion. Is that what you call slashing? LOL.

No need to go on, Agip. I looked at the first 2 and they were wrong. I don't want to embarrass you too much. So I won't look at any others.
Why do you care about the definition of "infrastructure", Sally?

Why do you care about the definition of "infrastructure", Sally?
Why? Because you keep calling it an infrastructure bill. It is not. Only $1 trillion of the $3.5 trillion is slated to go to actual infrastructure - e.g., bridges and roads. Most of it - like $2.5 trillion is going to expansions of liberal pork programs. Expansions of welfare programs. Why not call it instead a liberal pork expansion? That is more accurate.

So we have before us the most important legislation of our lifetime and the thing you care most about is the name?
Is there any specific provision in the bill you especially like or don't like?

I may have to start ignoring you - maybe you are just stupid.
Proofs that the first two are correct:
1/ from today's WSJ:
The U.S. incurred the second-largest budget deficit on record in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, reflecting government expenditures tied to the coronavirus pandemic and adding fuel to congressional debates about proposed spending.
The $2.8 trillion deficit was the second largest since 1945 as a share of the nation’s gross domestic product and trailed only the prior fiscal year’s $3.1 trillion shortfall,
there, you see? deficit cut.
2/ the SP500 literally set an all-time record high YESTERDAY.
come on. Do better. Be better. Use your brain.
the first two are correct.
ack my fault the first two is the economic growth
here:
Q1 2021: +6.3%
Q2 2021: +6.5%
Absolutely correct.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/188185/percent-change-from-preceding-period-in-real-gdp-in-the-us/That is not "slashing" the deficit. The prior year had the Covid. The year before that was $1 Trillion. Are you really that stupid? I will start ignoring you.

Not anything specifically. Just the $2.5 trillion going to liberal pork expansions.

Like I said. We’ve been only a couple years away for well over a decade. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 “Just wait til next year.”
I do get a kick out of your posts, rube. 😂😂😂😂😂

Here are a few:
- 2 free years of community college, regardless of income. Pork, oink, oink.
- Child care and universal pre-K. More pork, oink, oink.
- Extended childcare tax credits until 2025- More pork, oink, oink.
If all the funds went towards roads, bridges, railroads, tunnels & airports- then no problem. However, you idiot dems want to stick in all these wasteful entitlement/social programs.
Cut out the pork, dem idiots.

the deficit dropped 10%
if you don't want to call that 'slashed' that's fine, I'll accept 'significantly cut' or whatever.
point is, the deficit is falling under Biden after soaring under Trump.
Which is always what happens. Rs rip open the deficit and Ds have to start cutting back. Then voters notice less spending, get mad at the Dems and put the Rs back in office. Who proceed to rip open the deficit again. Then the dems come in to fix it...rinse, repeat.
You do seem rather obsessed with me. I'm glad this an anonymous board or I would worry about stalking.
