So you also think the plan is a joke? The loss isn't mine, it's the American people who will once again get screwed by the Democrats at the expense of the major donors. Shameful that this is allowed to happen and more people can't see the problems that are right in front of them!
No technology is perfect.
It's just that given all the massive pain, expense and inferior technology of gas cars, the EV is a much better choice.
So if you buy a gas car you are an idiot.

That’s awesome. It probably comes in handy when you’re driving around looking for a charging station that isn’t occupied for the next couple of hours or is not broken. I get it. You’re a big fanboy. That’s great. It doesn’t change the fact that today’s EVs are inconvenient and frustrating. All the workarounds youve posted here and hoops you have jump through with your EV just proves my point. EVs will be better in the next few years with improved battery tech and improved infrastructure. Now they are inconvenient and frustrating.

That all could be true - it’s not, but it still doesn’t change the fact that EVs today are not ready for prime time. They are inconvenient and frustrating. Your posts have shown this. You probably didn’t mean to, but you did show how frustrating and inconvenient they are with your workarounds and hassle owning one. Battery tech and infrastructure will get better in a few years. Until then the EVs will not be convenient and will be very frustrating.

Trump supported $2,000 stimulus, are you saying Trump is an idiot?

No, I'm okay with $2000 to those who need it, but not the remainder of the pork that does nothing to help with Covid relief. Or $1400 a week to Federal employees that have NOT lost a a paycheck. Why is that so hard for you to understand? That should have been passed last fall, but was held up by the Dems to not give Trump an once of credit. Shameful. Simply shameful.

Either a gas car is better or an EV is better.
There is only one tiny situation where a gas car has any advantage. That is on very long trips. So unless long trips make up most of your driving, the EV is better.
And if you buy a gas car you are an idiot.

Not true. But you know that. Lol. Listen. I get it. You are a big EV fanboy. Likely you bought one in 2016 or 2017 and have suffered through the frustration and inconvenience since then trying desperately to justify that huge investment in something that has caused you a lot of angst. EVs will get better in a few years once battery tech and prices get better and once infrastructure is built for them. Right now by your own admission they are inconvenient and frustrating. And I agree with you.
Just googled 2017 Bolt and this came up under Kelley Blue Books-
Advertised range on a full charge has been non obtainable. I have owned this car for 9 months and at each charge the available mileage decreases. Full charge now is 204. Another full charge was 171. At this rate at the end of 3 years I will have very little mileage on a full charge. Informed the dealer of this problem. They did a diagnostic check ,gave me a printout, that said everything was working OK. It appears the advertised 259 miles is a one-time.

Note that TX has one of the country's absolute worst vaccination rollouts, it has all the variant viruses, and it is a heavily urban state.
Only 12.9% of the population has one one stick, 6.8% have had two.
Only 2-3 state are as bad as that.
This is freedumb in action, boys.

Right now by your own admission, gas cars are inconvenient and frustrating. You can't come up with one thing that gas cars do better than EVs except the rare instance of a very long road trip.
Whether it's cost, safety, handling, maintenance, acceleration, emissions, convenience of fueling at home, or anything else, the EV wins.
But you know that. Lol. Listen. I get it. You are afraid of change. You still carry a flip phone. You have missed out on a better life by not buying an EV and have suffered through the frustration and inconvenience since then trying desperately to justify that huge investment in a gas car that has caused you a lot of angst.
And of course, if you had bought an EV when I did you might have recognized the huge investment opportunity in Tesla. You would have bought in at $86 a share like I did and you would be a lot richer.
But hey, you can fix all that. You can buy an EV for your next car. Tesla is still a bargain at $686 a share. So it's not too late to get in on both.
But if you buy a gas car you are an idiot.

Does your employer know how you feel?
GM is spending billions on EVs because they know gas cars are inferior. And if GM doesn't get its act together on EVs pretty soon they will be out of business.
Don't see the EV as a threat. Help GM get to where they need to be so Tesla has competition and you don't lose your job.
Wow. I feel your anger in that post. Listen. All through this thread you have admitted over and over through the workarounds and hoops you have to jump through with an EV that they are frustrating and inconvenient. I know you were just trying to overcome objections but in doing so you proved my point that EVs today are inconvenient and frustrating. And you proved it quite well. Thank you for that. EVs will get a lot better in the next few years. Battery tech will improve driving costs down and mileage up. Adequate infrastructure will be built to support EVs. Today they are frustrating and inconvenient and especially if you are unfortunate enough to have bought something other than a Tesla. I can’t imagine the frustration and inconvenience of EV owners who made the mistake of buying something other than a Tesla.

I ALWAYS admit when I am wrong, and if warranted, I apologize (I mean, a person can be wrong without having to apologize).
If you do a search for "unreservedly", you will see several times when I have apologized, because I use that word typically when I do so.
I have no problem ever admitting to being wrong about something. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. I have never said I am perfect...others have, but I haven't.

It's too bad you are stuck with your slow granny-mobile. It's too bad that you didn't buy an EV years ago so you would realize that you should buy Tesla stock at $86 a share like I did.
But maybe you are starting to come around now. It sounds like you at least admit that a Tesla is better than a gas car. But take it from 97% of all EV owners who will tell you that any EV is better than a gas car.
If you buy a gas car you are an idiot.
