Have the Russians hacked into his Peleton yet??? My name is my address. I can't believe Mitch is still in charge at the good old Senate despite the apparent Democratic quasi-Majority. Best of luck confirming all those progressives in your cabinet.
And when are we gonna start talking about that laptop of Hunters?

+1. I wanted four years of Tulsi eye candy, but this'll do.
First big Biden disappointment. He said that there was no way to change the trajectory of the virus this winter into the spring. It looks like he is not going to try to coordinate any sort of national lockdown to contain the virus and will continue to leave those measures up to the states. A number of states are seeing improving numbers now that the surge from the holidays is waning and state restrictions are helping. But a bunch of state are stuck at very high levels of infection (AZ, TX, FL, GA, etc.) and are doing nothing to bring cases down. This may be the fertile breading ground for the takeover of the UK variant and a massive surge this spring.
So this is the official Socialist States of America Propaganda Thread now? Replaces the old one titled, "The Official President Donald Trump Thread"? Got it. More proof that 80%+ of LRC is on the Left with probably at least a third of them on the far Left. Already been a complete 180 degree turn in the media.
Does Biden still remember he is the President or has he already forgotten?

Uh.. bro. Trump is no longer president. Hence the name change. Make sense?

The WHO doesn’t even recommend full lockdowns, so I don’t know why you think Biden should implement one, even if he had the authority to do so. Best path forward is social distance and vaccinate as much as possible.
Also the most pragmatic solution. No one wants another lock-down, it's just not going to happen in the US. I think he's playing it smart here and focusing on big vaccine rollouts
What's the science behind wearing masks for a 100 days
I'm thinking these leaders should be keeping their traps shut
Over in the UK Boris Johnson is making all sorts of crazy announcements about new deadly strains to distract from his failures in controlling the spread of the virus
Flagpole as always your prediction will not age well. Biden is too old and is expendable to the nanny state left in the US. The radical Neo Marxists calling the shots want Kamala as president. The 25th Amendment has nothing to Dementia, but that will come. During the campaign Biden spent most of the day in bed sleeping while Trump either shot himself in the foot, the media went to war with him or covid numbers got too large to hide. Biden can't give 3 speeches in a day, travel somewhere to meet foreign leaders or the troops, battle with Congress with out all of this harming his health. The gaffes will only make his decline more obvious. There's good news Kamala can't carry the electoral college in 2024 unless Trump splits the party.

Neither was Kiefer Sutherland. Surprise presidents turn out OK.
Kiefer Sutherland plays a role very much like the real Biden.
Subway - Just about everything you believe is wrong. Joe has a grasp of issues that Trump could even begin to understand. Joe is an old guy with a great deal of energy. I really haven't heard the gaffs since he has been president. He seems strong and earnest. I trust his judgement.
I am not sold on Kamala though. She flopped too many times during the primaries and seems very ambitious but not really directed by core beliefs. I am sure she would be wonderful compared to Trump but that's not saying much.
The toughest female I admire is Nancy Pelosi. She is amazing for her age. She knows how to show leadership and you don't mess with her. I don't know who would be the first female democratic president.
Yes you are the leaders in War for sure. How many you gonna slaughter this time you reckon? In the name of peace. Grandpa Joe not waiting around that’s for sure.

Unfortunately, press secreataries are unable to say "he forgot" or "he was wrong." Instead, we get spin and deflection. All adminstrations are guilty of this.
Admit he was wrong or forgot, but tell the truth and don't try to spin everything.
If this is the worst that Biden can do for the next four years (no tan suits), we are in good shape.
Andrew Cuomo handled that question during his press conference the best way. He said he has been a tremendous role model for everyone regarding the importance of wearing masks. No one can say otherwise. He dismissed that one incident as not being important and not really being away of it.
(Its really searching for something to criticize a president who is doing a great job, its silly to point out that you saw him once with his family not wearing a mask))
so what is Joe doing about this?

Joe will take his time before responding. Like a normal (non-Trump) president does.

Let's get your facts straight first.
Cases in US are down 28% from the recent peak.
Georgia cases are down 23%.
FL are down 29%.
AZ are down 27%.
TX are down 19% (maybe you are right with this one).
By constrast NY is down 15%. NJ down 20%.
By daily cases per 100K of population, the highest states are:
AZ: 100
SC: 92
CA: 80
NY: 77
RI: 73
GA: 72
I'd look at NY as the area with the highest potential for the new variant taking off. High daily rate of infection per capita and slow decrease in new cases/day.
As for the national lockdown, it was never going to happen.
U.S. is capable of doing more. I do not know how we should classify life in Europe today, but Europe is more towards a lockdown that U.S. They are not going to school in Austria or Germany in person as I type. People seem to believe Biden has no authority over the states. Reagan wanted all 50 states to pass state laws lowering D.U.I. to .08 for most citizens and either .06 or .04 for professionals and change drinking age to 21. Reagan had no real legal authority over the states. Reagan threatened to cut off interstate highway funding to states if states did not comply. All states rolled over and obeyed Reagan, changed their D.U.I. laws and made drinking age 21. This occurred in Reagan's second term if I recall correctly. Biden can close military bases to get compliance. States rely on military bases to support local businesses. Biden has many tools to get states to comply.
