The plan was to implement his student loan bailout plan in a way it would never pass
"He prepared for that violence by arming himself with a stun device and a ten-pound steel pole, both capable of inflicting serious bodily injury. And then he traveled to Washington, D.C. with those weapons," the filing continued, noting that he only left the Capitol after he was hit by chemical spray - and then bragged about his actions to reporters.
In other words he did nothing except enter the bldg. He "prepared". was "capable of". Traveled with a stun gun and a pole.

There they go again, 'conservatives' saying they are helping the middle class but doing all they can to give our money to the rich donors.
Golf clap, Republicans.
Actually here I'll take off the quotes. This is actual conservative behavior. This is what they do every time and every time the rubes fall for it. The rubes actually think the GOP works for them and not donors. Heh. That's why Trump talks to them at a 5th grade level - to keep that illusion alive.

Agreed. He knew full well he lacked the authority. He was just using young voters in the election. It’s similar to the reparations committees in San Francisco and at the California state government.

They believe a rising tide lifts all boats. Trickle down. Sounds like a pretty obvious scam to me but they genuinely believe in it.
Yeah! And what's his name? And address? And phone number?
Der Onkel won't believe the injuries were "serious" unless he receives a full medical report and he gets to question the officer and doctors involved--preferably by having them come to his house. Otherwise it's clearly BS.
[FYI: "that officer was knocked unconscious and sustained injuries to his head, foot, and arm." ]
If the claim is made a cop was seriously injured, we should be told what the injuries were.
Why do you dodge every question posed to you about remarks in your posts? It's very, very slimy and viscous behavior.
Who is "we" in your statement?
What law, rule, code or standard do you think requires someone to report to you and the "we"s about the extent of a cop's injuries for every federal criminal proceeding in which a cop's injuries are possible evidence?
And who do you think owes this duty/obligation that you believe exists to report the cop's injuries to whoever "we" is?
What manner are you saying that such notice of the cop's injuries should have provided to you? Your post reads like you expect public Notices regarding cop injuries in the mail or from the town crier on a periodic basis.
From a J6 guy about to go to jail for a long time. You believe 'conservative' claptrap, it costs you. For most it's money, brain cells and common sense...others die by taking 'conservative' advice on COVID.
This guy took 'conservative' advice on news media consumption and hey it got him free food and board for many years!
"I was watching InfoWars, Alex Jones... We were hearing that Dominion servers were being invaded by the Chinese," (J6 defendant) Wakins said.

they basically believe in a two-class nation: the rich and the poor. The rich have earned what they have so the nation should bend to help them. The poor deserve what they got so the nation should not waste resources on them.
I mean that's the theory, but it's all twisted up in race so the poor white southerners vote money out of their own pockets every time, so they feel they are keeping the blacks from rising up. Sick nation in many ways.

These are enormous strawman and exaggerated characterizations of conservative and/or GOP beliefs and policies. But we are heading into a three day weekend, and booze is always a factor.

The Dems have done so much for the poor and middle class that last 40 years!

Call me crazy but if you are going to assert a cop was seriously injured you ought to back it up with facts.

The new IRS funding is being used to go after 1) tips, 2) gig workers, and 3) contractors who use Venmo. Not "the rich."

Call me crazy but if you are going to assert a cop was seriously injured you ought to back it up with facts.
The assertion that a cop was seriously injured was backed up with a comprehensive set of corroborated facts. The allegation of serious injury to the cop was not even disputed or rebutted by any defendants. So there is no need to call you crazy, because what you say ought to have happened, did happen.
What I'm asking YOU is why YOU think those facts regarding the cop injury needed to be reported to YOU and the "we"s. Again, these are the questions (repeated below) that I am asking you in response to your statement that: "If the claim is made a cop was seriously injured, WE should be told what the injuries were."
1. What law, rule, code or standard do you think requires someone to report to you the extent of a cop's injuries for every federal criminal proceeding in which the extent and nature of cop's injuries are possible evidence?
2. And who do you think owes this duty/obligation that you believe exists to report the cop's injuries to you?
3. What manner are you saying that such notice of the cop's injuries should have provided to you? Your post reads like you expect public Notices regarding cop injuries in the mail or from the town crier on a periodic basis.
If memory serves regarding your behavior, you won't answer any of those questions, but will rather deflect, dodge, do a passive-aggressive "I'm just saying . . ." bit, or some other circular routine (like you just did above).

Conservatives have branded themselves as the pro business better economy party. They brand themselves as smart and shrewd as opposed to the Democrats who are brash, overly moral, and irresponsible. I don't think any of this is true in reality but the Republicans have the better brand on the economy which is the most important issue for independent voters

It's certainly funny when ER (very clearly) looks like the more rational one.

So, what does that say about the millions of R's and I's in FL who are still OK with DeSantis punishing Disney for disagreeing with him on a social issue? Apparently, when push comes to shove -and at least with DeSantis - culture wars are ACTUALLY more important than the economy (not to mention non-authoritarian principles). Moreover, I expect that plenty of other (or all?) Rs could get away with the exact same kinds of things.

Lately, ER seems to be doing a good job of leaning more towards "smart" than "crazy." I greatly prefer the former.
