1) Well, your loss to decide not to read stuff from someone who is your superior in every way.
2) Not sure if you can still get Dick and Jane books...actually, let me find out...ah, it appears you can. Perhaps that is more your speed, you imbecile.
Has anyone used the timex GPS (Global positioning satellite)? We carry them in my running store, but have not gotten a chance to play around yet, and also am not sure if i will get one. How accurate is it? also, doesnt nike have something similar with the armband and watch? i know they at least look like theyll be fun to try, but it sure is an expensive toy. later
The discourse here can be quite amiable until Flagpole shows up and single-handedly drags it down to the gutter. Got to give him credit, though, for consistently - he consistently drags the discourse down to the gutter.
I made it point 1. I saw you declare that a man who has made millions with his economic knowledge is a "dumb@ss" and I quit reading because I had enough information at that point to dismiss anything else you could possibly say.

So you're a leftist who thinks everyone isn't equal?

Please keep in mind that if you are superior to anyone in any way it's not because of your own efforts but rather because you are RACIST.

INCORRECT!
The Cancer in the Room is TheAdultInTheRoom. You would know this if you were not such a . . .

Have not been reading your party literature Ivan?
1) I thought you didn't read my stuff, you moron.
2) Yes, I am a leftist who knows that everyone is not equal...some people are smarter or more talented than others...knows no racial or gender boundaries, though...it's all about individuals.
3) You have a dumb@ss warped view of what the Democratic Party stands for.
4) Comment more if you like, but I'm done with you for now. I can only handle your stupidity in small chunks. You really are a VERY stupid person...remarkably so.

I'm not reading paragraphs from a moron. I'll read the short ones.
You claim to be intelligent and than proudly announce that you're a leftist who believes in individualism.
This is why I call you stupid. You don't even understand why that statement is absurd. lol.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen centered her reasons for a near 40-year-high inflation rates on Americans 'splurging' on purchases during the pandemic.
Anyone can find an expert that agrees with them. Macro economics are (is?) more complicated than any human can fully understand. Larry Summers blames Biden. I could probably find several PhD Econ people who say it’s primarily Covid and supply chain issues. Neither of us know who is actually right but we’ll pretend that we do.

Liberals are incapable of separating their politics from anything.
Paul Krugman is the left's most prominent economist. He's been wrong about pretty much everything he's ever predicted because all of his predictions are based on politics rather than economics.

Yeah the next level is finding smart people’s critiques of the opposition’s smart people and then repeating those

Listen to Thomas Sowell or Milton Friedman speak and then listen to Paul Krugman speak. It's painfully obvious which guy has no command of the subject.

This is a very good post. Krugman maybe earned a Ph. D in economics but all that knowledge and expertise he obtained amounts to squat when his political ideology trumps everything else. He allows his far-left ideology to rule over what he most certainly knows is the actual truth.

I don't think he knows.
I think liberals are absolutely incapable of recognizing their own bias.
They're like fish who will deny that their wet to last breath because honestly can't even conceive what dry is.

I’ve never heard any of them speak but I would imagine judging someone’s views based on how intelligent they sound seems flawed in several ways. I’m sure there’s a lefty who sounds smart too.

I need to man-lessonize you in posting good analogies. That may be the worst example I've seen. It's always good to mention fish, but the rest of it is nonsensical. It made as much sense as tits on a haddock.
I have a friend who is anti student loan forgiveness yet he said "i got approved for student loan forgiveness. This crazy guy actually did it! If he is gonna sink the ship I might as well take some." This annoyed me. If you dont agree, dont take the money.
This is like republicans who hate on "socialist" policies like the inflation reduction act while accepting tons of funds to help fix their infrastructure.
That's not how it works. If your friend turns down the money, it comes at great cost to himself, but does nothing to fix the trillion dollars of deficit spending, or the moral hazards it created, or the ridiculous authoritarian power grab that it was.
This is like saying if you disagree with the 2017 tax cut, you're obligated to pay more taxes than you owe.
Well, she's right. I was part of that. I bought a car during the pandemic for absolutely full MSRP price (technically I think it was $200 under, but still...pretty much full price). I have NEVER done that before, but there were issues with chips, and inventory was crazy low and I wanted the car, so I bought it. I bought other things too at premium prices...and I was not alone.
I know you won't understand this, but I'll explain it to you anyway. During the raging part of the pandemic, people curtailed their spending A LOT. They did this because there was a lot of uncertainty...how long would this last? Would they lose their job? Would there be another job to get if they lost the one they had? People have certain wants/needs, and even some of those needs got pushed back, so when the economy began to open up a bit, Americans went on a spending spree. The GDP Growth Rate in 2021 was nuts. You don't credit Biden for that, do you? I didn't. No need to have sales when inventories are low and people want the sh!t you are selling. Inventories were depleted. Supply chain issues kept the inventories depleted and/or low, so prices increased.
Now that we are moving further away from the event that caused the high inflation (American spending spree in 2021 which followed the ending of the raging part of the pandemic), inflation is beginning to ease...and it will continue to unless there is another world event that causes it to go up again.
