"after the pardons rain down on the seditionlands."
Not really sure what you are trying to say there, but if the Jan. 6 "insurrectionists" were really trying to overthrow the government, as you propose, why are there no Jan. 6 Committee hearings going on now. They should be going on now until the cows come home. But they stopped 4 months ago. So apparently the Jan. 6 Committee hearings people didn't feel it was important enough to continue with the hearings.
Summation: No insurrection. Case closed. It is officially re-classified as a protest. Nothing more.
sally, google. That's all I have to say to you. google. It's a wonderful resource to keep you from being ignorant and incorrect.

In that picture I see Liz Cheney who is about as big of an anti-Trump person you could ever find and that black guy who heads up the committee and said on day one of the hearings that Trump was guilty.
Is that who I am supposed to trust to deliver the truth?
I have often hear my coworkers mention "google" but never knew what that meant. I will have to check into it. Maybe buy a share or two.
apparently bing is pretty good too. bing it!
Agip is a slave to big tech. Bing and Google will steer you to whoever pays them the most money or SEOs that manipulate the search engine algorithms the best. Many forms of "news" are paid advertisements for special interests. Be skeptical of what you see in the mainstream media and try to rely on data, not opinions and ads.

the point here is that the J6 committee is meeting regularly and interviewing people nearly constantly. So it would be great if you'd stop saying they weren't working. Because they are working very hard.
They only have another couple weeks to work before the pro-seditionist Republicans dissolve the committee so they can focus all of Congress's investigative power on Hunter Biden.
You might want to reflect on what's more important: The violent attack on congress or a president's wayward son. And vote accordingly.

your argument is that Sally is correct and the J6 committee is not working anymore?
or you do want to use google and bing to show that the J6 committee has interviewed multiple Republicans in the last few days?

to be a Republican is to deny facts and go with your feelings.
it's really remarkable how they choose to reject facts and go with their suppositions and guts.
here they refuse to do any research to disprove their feelings.
The problem that Elmer Rhodes and his Chief Deputy Kelly "Big Cookie" Meggs (and many others) faced here was that Trump never invoked the Insurrection Act as everyone expected, so the Oath-Keeps were stuck in the Hobnob's choice of whether to go all rogue and invoke their own version of stompage.
Oh, my dear, I believe you meant Hobson's choice...except that it doesn't quite mean that.
Hobson's choice is no choice at all. And the Oath Keepers did have an actual choice available.
no, not a civil war. But trumplandia will consider itself as the real USA and any orders from DC to be well not all that serious or meaningful. Armed men will intimidate Democrats and scare them into basically hiding their politics for fear of their lives.
There will be nullification issues, constant states rights legal fights...but no outright violent battles between the US Army and the Trumplandia Army.
Just an uptake in political violence. Trumpers are uneducated, humiliated but patriotic...that's a dangerous mix that Republican leaders will use to gain power and punish Dems.
Thank you for answering my question. I was really hoping I could set your mind at ease, but...
...instead I have more questions:
1) Define "Trumplandia."
2) Your argument about Dems hiding their politics is really intriguing, because I have heard it expressed only in the inverse, where Trump supporters must hide their true feelings.
3) Have you seen any "armed men" personally? If so, what did they look like, and how were you able to tell what their politics were?
4) If Trump is actually building an army at the moment, why aren't there states rights issues and nullification battles going on presently? Or are there?
And a statement, which I wonder if you can agree with: all violence is political. By that, I mean that our media are extremely eager to point to political motivations for any mass-casualty incident.
And hey...what did you mean by "punish Dems?" I'm having trouble parsing this, because I think the next round of fights are going to be between Biden and the media (or, more charitably, Biden and the Progressives). The outcome of the railroad strike being the best example)
I'm talking about the famous ones...the oath keepers leaders, etc. they watched Goodfellas and they learned that they need to take the hit now so they can remain made men when they get out. That right winger who who killed people in St Louis - he's the model. he's all over America selling his personal brand. that's where this is going.
the masses who stormed the capitol, no, that's not who I'm talking about.
Didn't one of these m'agas represent himself? tells me that he doesn't really want to get out of jail - he wants prison on his resume for what comes next...after the pardons rain down on the seditionlands.

That's some real goofball logic, Hucklebuck. Congressional hearing didn't proceed at what you subjectively consider a fast enough pace, therefore "case closed"? Elmer Rhodes just got adjudicated an insurrectionist yesterday by a 12 person jury, for J. Christ's sakes.
"officially re-classified as a protest"? WTF? There are hundreds of Capitol breachians, many liguberating in federal prison as we speak, who pled guilty to the exact opposite of what you are saying is a protest. They are forced to eat gruel and swab concrete floors with dingy mops.
3) Have you seen any "armed men" personally? If so, what did they look like, and how were you able to tell what their politics were?
I have not seen them. but this will multiply I'm sure. You might try to say they are actually Biden fans but that would be absurd.
PHOENIX — A federal judge Friday refused to bar a group from monitoring outdoor ballot boxes in Arizona’s largest county where watchers have shown up armed and in ballistic vests, saying to do so could violate the monitors’ constitutional rights. U.S. District Court Judge Michael Liburdi said the case remained open and that the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans could try again to make its argument against a group calling itself Clean Elections USA. A second plaintiff, Voto Latino, was removed from the case.

Friend of mine lives in extreme trumplandia. He estimated that maybe 10% of his town was Democrat, if that. But the vote from midterms came in at 35%. The difference is the people who keep their politics secret. Multiply that across a nation of 330 million and it's a lot of people who may be intimidated by trumpists. Some of the fear is palpable.
SMETHPORT, Pa. (AP) — Some Democrats here in rural Pennsylvania are afraid to tell you they’re Democrats. The party’s brand is so toxic in the small towns 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh that some liberals have removed bumper stickers and yard signs and refuse to acknowledge their party affiliation publicly. These Democrats are used to being outnumbered by the local Republican majority, but as their numbers continue to dwindle, the few that remain are feeling increasingly isolated and unwelcome in their own communities. “The hatred for Democrats is just unbelievable,” said Tim Holohan, an accountant based in rural McKean County who recently encouraged his daughter to get rid of a pro-Joe Biden bumper sticker. “I feel like we’re on the run.”
4) If Trump is actually building an army at the moment, why aren't there states rights issues and nullification battles going on presently? Or are there?
the Repubs ran a slate of candidates who swore they would not have certified a Dem victory in 2020. That's a pure nullification crisis.
Or this one:
NYT:
WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court announced on Thursday that it would hear a case that could radically reshape how federal elections are conducted by giving state legislatures independent power, not subject to review by state courts, to set election rules in conflict with state constitutions. The case has the potential to affect many aspects of the 2024 election, including by giving the justices power to influence the presidential race if disputes arise over how state courts interpret state election laws. In taking up the case, the court could upend nearly every facet of the American electoral process, allowing state legislatures to set new rules, regulations and districts on federal elections with few checks against overreach, and potentially create a chaotic system with differing rules and voting eligibility for presidential elections.

Congrats, now you know what every Republican in a D+30 county experiences.

I call BS. Rhodes and Meggels are not going to FCI Butner with some of the other lightweights. I see Marion, Leavenworth or even the dreaded Otisville for these guys. The Bureau of Prisons won't allow a convicted seditionalist to be housed in a minimum security institution. Won't happen.
And its no goddam coincidence that stocks soared after Rhodes at al. got thrashed by the jury. Wall Street knows. Wall Street ALWAYS knows The Score.
red counties/regions that will only elect republicans
Trumplandia: where "Independent" legislatures install republicans who lose elections to take the seat legitimately won by someone else. It matters not how low a percentage of the vote the R gets, 10%, 0%, they will be declared the winner.
Pops maybe helped her get into Wharton but Wharton doesn't just pass out "cumm laude" distinctions willy nilly. She maybe had a GPA as high as 3.699 and the designation signifies she achieved a very high distinction even among the other Wharton students who already are de creme de la creme. She WAS a remarkable student and yet you say is "dumb as f&ck" and then you go to this crap ... "fake as hell .... fake hair, fake teeth, looks like a horse, fake booobs, gross, you blow chunks until the cows come home." What kind of adult writes like this? Seriously, what kind of adult are you? That is something a 9-year-old would say ... "blow chunks until the cows come home." Does your wife know that you behave like this here? You scoff at her cumm laude designation yet you "earned" a journalism degree and don't even know that ending quotation marks go outside the punctuation.
FFS getting into an Ivy is the hard part...the only harder thing is to get bad grades at an Ivy. You really have to try to get bad grades.
So, it looks like Biden is trying to double down on stupidity during the lame duck session. Imposing more restrictions on oil and gas when we are in the midst of high inflation (7.7%) with the biggest component being energy inflation (17.6%). What this will do is force more rate hikes from the fed, further decimating the housing market, business investment, etc.
lessee....
oil is the same price now as it was before the russian invasion and far lower than when Biden sold out of the SPR
gasoline is only 10 cents per gallon higher than a year ago
The Fed thinks inflation is running at around 4-5% right now and falling fast
The Fed thinks the economy is growing at a 4.3% rate right now
Uemployment has a 3 handle.
The US economy has far higher growth than its peers and far lower inflation than its peers.
Not really sure you are on top of the facts.
I'm just spitballing here...but are you listening to right wing media again?
Hmm...inflation is falling fast, is it? I wonder who said that would happen (Um, that would be me)?
So, moron Trumpers, what policy of Biden's is causing inflation to fall? (hint: no policy is). What policy of his caused world wide inflation? (hint: no policy did).
If you don't know how inflation is calculated, then you need not ever mention your window-licking mouths about it.
Inflation is falling because we are moving further away from the event that caused it. The Fed goosed it a little bit, but their involvement wasn't even necessary.
So, in summary, Trumpers are morons, and Ivanka is stupid as f*ck...oh, and also, eggplant is the worst vegetable.
