Here’s a better question: how can any adult be so stupid as to be willingly distracted by such dumb means? they don’t want you to care about the Jan 6 committee so they are fooling you into this stupid nonsense.
We learned that Trump and the Republicans strong-armed the Department of Justice into corrupting itself by lying about the election, and the Republican response? A fake fury about presidential cue cards, something all presidents use.
Trump came within one guy of getting the DOJ to send a letter to the states lying about the DOJ having found widespread election fraud. Which would have thrown the nation and world into chaos.
This is most harm a president has done to the nation in at least a century, but you rubes by all means let them distract you with dumb stuff.
Rubes. Grow up.
You learned nothing. You cherry pick the info that supports your biased racist views. This thread is your entire life, it consumes you.
These men are all wiser than you on your best day and their worst. You're a clueless follower, keep it up:)
"Clueless follower" says that guy who in the same breath makes no counter-argument whatsoever. But don't worry, us non-rubes have gotten REALLY used to it.
How can anyone defend this? This is really scary. Like stop the partisan stuff for a minute and literally think about it....our president needs notes to tell him when to take his seat...
Biden is organized and disciplined. That's why he was elected over the guy who is unorganized and corrupt.

why do you let them? Don’t be a patsy.
The president has a note card that directs him on literally the most basic of functions...and is clearly not in control and you are worried about Jan 6? And you are calling me stupid?
Yeah, very easy to believe that the Germany/Japan examples don't inform us a whole lot about our situation or prospects. What is interesting (and like usual, depressing) to note is that, while we haven't been carpet-bombed/nuked into perhaps changing our views, we DO have overwhelming evidence that a president tried to steal an election and it has moved the needle HOW much? Easy to imagine that even more jarring events wouldn't move it enough, either.
....and yes, like agip says, on the other side is, "Cue cards, 'He's old' cartoons, unflattering photos of transgender folks, incredibly meaningless cries of 'groomer!" etc....."
You know, the really IMPORTANT stuff for a country. Roughly half sign up for it. Yep, probably doomed.
It’s uncanny how much you and agip agree on. 😂😂😂😂
On one hand some are stuck in 2021 where a coup/insurrection/riot/protest/parade happened and the president allegedly attempted to overthrow the govt. Our system worked and it didn’t come close to happening. 👍👍👍
Meanwhile in 2022, we have a guy with his finger on the nuclear button who needs a card to LITERALLY tell him when to sit and speak. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ And is dragging this country into a recession with 10% inflation and $5 gas. 👎👎👎👎

Sure, let's "literally" think about it fairly systematically. In ascending order of concern, followed by the EASY comparison of each of them to the current alternative.
1) Whole thing is completely bogus. Standard for many public officials, or overzealous/over-protective staff/PR weenies, etc.
2) OK, maybe more guidance than most public officials receive. But some folks, at all ages, may need/want (or have staff who think they need/want) more guidance than others to make things pretty for the cameras. Big f**** deal.
3) He DOES need more guidance than most, and SOME of that may be due to him being older. Not ideal, but no, not necessarily anywhere near "SCARY"....unless you're a rube.
4) His capacity is substantively diminished. But he's far from gone, and still has a principled, ethical, capable Executive Branch surrounding him.
Now, compare all four of the possibilities above (including #4) to what the other major party is currently selling: Autocracy....or at least many of its trappings. EASY CHOICE for an intelligent country. All day, every day.

A party of rubes indeed. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
No, it's not uncanny in the least bit. And while there are 2 options for why you'd claim it, I'll go with the less flattering option of you simply not having the perception skills to see obvious differences between us. You know, like the non-rubes on this thread easily do.
What IS interesting - and somewhat embarrassing - is how all of the non-rubes on this thread ARE stupid enough to CONTINUE to waste our time "discussing" things with you guys. Pretty sad.

3) He DOES need more guidance than most, and SOME of that may be due to him being older. Not ideal, but no, not necessarily anywhere near "SCARY"....unless you're a rube.
Lol...not ideal? His note card says "YOU enter the room"..."YOU take YOUR seat". That's scary that the POTUS needs someone to tell him when to sit down.
I can tell your older by the fact that you said "rube" so I understand you may feel sympathetic towards dementia patients but this is unreal.

Let me guess, you have ZERO experience with scripted events, high level events, public affairs, etc.?
This is what decent intelligence and/or a good education gets someone that you and the other rubes (knuckle-draggers, mouth breathers, Trumpers, moran, you take your age-preferred choice): Knowing when you do and do not know much about something.
Hint: When you don't know much about something, it's generally best not to form particularly strong opinions about it. Moreover, when you DO make this mistake (even smart people do), TRY to learn from it and do it less in the future.
But what will someone like you do? You could now be shown a dozen examples of prominent, respected, NOT old public officials getting the same kind of step-by-step public affairs guidance, and it would teach you nothing. You'd just move on to the next internet BS to swallow whole and spread.

first off, Biden is appearing multiple social events every day, each with carefully choreographed moves. That alone should tell you Biden is fine. Being prepared all the time is a good thing not a bad thing. It means you care and want to get it right. I'd certainly do the same thing.
oh forget it. Biden could have two hour long unscripted press conferences and you wouldn't think that means anything. Oh wait, he does have unscripted two-hour long press conferences and you dont think it means anything.
Rube. Pay attention to the coup attempt that they are trying to distract you from.
Multiple members of congress asked for pardons. Trump is under state and federal investigation. That's the issue of the day.

A wall of text to convince yourself it's normal for the president to have to read note cards to tell him when to sit down.

look at this schedule. Many days it's jam packed. Which tells you he's not hiding, he's not being manipulated, he's out there in public doing the work.
It also tells you how hard it is to keep it all straight when you going nonstop in a whirlwind of public appearances, when the slightest misstep can win or lose an election or start a war. Being prepared is the obvious sign of a good executive.
This is the public schedule for Joe Biden, as provided by the White House Press Office. This calendar is updated at midnight every day with the day's public events
Bidens mental state doesn’t matter to voters. I think it actually helped that republicans played it up a lot because it gave Joe a lower bar to clear last cycle.

It's really that simple.
As I should have emphasized in my first reply, MORE IMPORTANT is that even if option #4 most closely reflects reality, it's STILL better than having an autocrat as the most powerful person in the world.
Joe Biden isn't an autocrat. I see no indications that the D party is interested in autocrats.
One simply CANNOT say the same thing about Trump or the current R party.
And these facts have NOTHING to do with ideology.
But back to your last assertion, no, it's not that simple. The PR weenies want things to look nice, so they give explicit directions. And sure, it might look silly. But you have no clue whether that's common, or not. But you INSIST on reading too much into it.
I've been saying this since 2020. Biden has dementia and needs to step down immediately.
How any American with half a brain could believe that this geriatric is anything more than a puppet who is 100% completely controlled by his WH advisors.
Putin, Xi, and every other country's leader must be laughing their asses off.
Lets go Brandon!

Senile Biden, "the leader of the free world" needs a cheat card to tell him to say hello! He accidentally revealed the card to cameras yesterday. Our president is incapacitated! pic.twitter.com/6Dp30fL1cp
