You didn't answer my question. Where is Biden going to start a large scale war? Trump threatened nuclear action against both NK and Iran, but it turns out he was the dove and Biden is the true lunatic.
If you're worried about Biden starting a major war, you don't need to, as it would require approval from Congress where it wouldn't receive a single vote of support.
Biden has some real challenges ahead.
He's gonna govern well though. Domestically they are gonna do a great job. None of the doomsday libertarian masochistic dreams are gonna come true. He's gonna govern as a moderate and well-thought out President.
The huge problems are with China, NK, and Iran.
Trump did nothing on NK. Wtf was his strategy? They basically got international recognition and nothing was done, now they have nukes and missiles.
China. Too little too late. Trump's strategy would've been good up until 90's or 00's.
Anyway, go Biden.
I referenced SW Asia x 2 in my post. Now you are saying it takes a vote from Congress to start wars. A president can start a small war without asking Congress for funds then go back to Congress later for funding. You may not know, but all 435 U.S. Congressional districts, have weapon manufactures &/or military base. If you are older than 15, you would know U.S. Senator Wellstone, MN passionately on U.S. Senate floor argued against funding 1991 Gulf War. By 2003, M.I.C. got to him. He was a yes vote on W. Bush's Iraq War. Sanders voting against both Gulf War and voting against Iraq War, 2002 & 2003 funding votes were rare for Democrats. Sanders is funded by the people. Most Democrats have to beg large corporations for funding. You should know this. I do not have time for anymore debating today. Have a productive day.
I think the risk of large scale war centers on Taiwan.
China wants it back.
They want independence.
It represents 4% of world wealth.
There are many advisers saying Biden needs to decide what we are willing to lose.
Democrats are “funny”
You are a fool. Trump never read ANYTHING. He was the laziest President and most incompetent President we have ever had. Biden does not have dementia, and he's no sexual pervert. WTF is wrong with you?
Yes I'm mainly worried about our international strength, and lack of keeping North Korea and Iran in check. I'm not overly worried about China. Yes China is capable of having the strongest military in the world, but I don't think it's a priority of theirs, thankfully.
America's military is the world police, whether we should be or not, but there is no one else who will try to keep countries with likely bad intent from getting long range nuclear missiles technology.
We'll likely see more attacks on our military bases in the middle east the next few years from groups backed by Iran, and likely see some more nuclear and missile testing from North Korea in the next few years.

I agree. Thats why I was so happy to see Trump saluting that North Korean general. Check mate North Korea.
Anybody else sick of Republicans and Democrats?
They're all a bunch of power-grubbing hypocrites who care more about their own party's political power than the unity and good of our country.
Either side only talks about unity when they have the upper hand to force the other side to back down and concede.
Both sides avoid separating themselves from their supporters which are violent extremists. But they cry out in outrage when the other side commits acts of violence.
The way you can tell both sides are more concerned about their own political power than the good of the country is that neither side is willing to compromise or extend a hand to the other side when they have the upper hand. And neither side is willing to admit they were wrong about anything unless they are forced to do so. And even then they will only admit the minimum.
Sick of all the politicians.
And for those that say, Drain the swamp. Who are you going to fill it with? More partisans seeking political power so it's still a swamp.
This is why so many of us are ambivalent about politics. It's just a power grab by either side with the thin veneer of "love of country."
Sick of them all. Politics is a necessary evil and I'm not going to waste my time dwelling on it. A two minute post right here is enough for me.
I'm not, I am actually excited to pay $8/gallon in gas prices and I have already been doing extra pushups and situps in preparation for our war with China.

I think it's perfectly normal that a dude with 5 chins will be informing the president on health matter. Great pick, Joe!

Didn't the US have some sort of deal with Iran on its nuclear program?
Do you really think that countries like NK and Iran want a nuclear program so they can launch an invasion of the US? NK has had nuclear capabilities for years. Why haven't they overrun South Korea in a massive invasion? Could it be that these countries are developing nuclear weapons as a deterrent to keep the US from launching another "regime change" invasion?
Do you really think that China is a military threat to the United States? Do you think that China wants to invade the US and take over? Or could it be that China just wants to do what the US does and use its military power to advance its interest in its hemisphere (mainly securing the S. China Sea, its main shipping lane for exports to the world, from interference from the US)? Could it be that disputes over the S. China Sea could be resolve through negotiations and a regional treaty instead of spending trillions in military spending to put the two nuclear powers on the verge of terminal nuclear war?
"legit apprehensive"?
How old are you?
I'm not going to watch the news for the next 4 years. Life's too short to let Leftists ruin it with their degeneracy.

Luckily, it's basically a law that the US would enter combat with China if they tried to take Taiwan. China does want it back, but I don't think they'll try to take it forcefully anytime soon.
So you were one of the 74 million who watches Fox News, believes in Q'Anon and voted for Trump. You lost.
No - the majority of the country is not apprehensive at all. They are relieved.
You make some good points, and I mostly agree. No new conflicts because of Trump. He was criticized for taking troops out of some warzone, that we had no business being in.. He really should have delayed It was stupid of him to kill iranian leader, but at least he didn't send a glut of new troops to new places. He deserved a lot of the criticism he got, but at least people were quick to notice these things.
I didn't feel too strongly before the election, but after seeing how even reasonable opposition to the administration is silenced, it makes me a bit worried. The press and the government (if we can call it that) will now be perfectly aligned. People now openly support authoritarianism, although they might not call because it is sufficiently distributed. Opposition to the government will now be seen as a bad thing, not as something someone does for fun because they can't keep themself busy any other way.
There will be something of a new PATRIOT act to protect us from insurrection or fascism. In 2018 or 2019 Barr was beginning to conceive of a pre-crime program. People will accept this more readily bc of things detailed above: people will fear 'fascism' coming back again. We are already being watched everywhere, but not the coordination/alignment that I think it will have in a few years.
The opposition to conspiracy also became unnerving. If you suggest something that sounds like a 'prepackaged' conspiracy theory - no matter how close it is to these things - some people will think of you as someone who believes in any conspiracy theory. People forget that all of history is a conspiracy; there's a reason why a writer like Thomas Pynchon had to craft a unique form of narrative to describe the post-modern world. But there's also a reason why he did his own research and didn't just watch youtube videos about these things. But now there is no distinction between the two
The Trump administration was also the greatest enemy of strong borders. People so easily see the bad aspects of his closed border policy (kids in cages, xenophobia) that they lose sight of the fact that open borders decrease wages. Expanding H1B visas is great for the economy, but allows the government forget their responsibility of educating and training people for highly skilled labor. I've heard fashionable young people so easily say "undocumented mexicans do work poor white folk won't" as if its a good thing, forgetting that these jobs are inhumane. Socialist chicks will squeal for open borders but forget that this is one of the most purely capitalist positions.
Things would have continue to get worse under Trump too, but at least you'd be able to better talk about it.

It looks like you didn't watch the news for the last 4 years either. Newsmax, Breitbart and Fox aren't news.
