The reading list would irritate me. However, I would simply unsubscribe from their e-mail list and move on. If no one is subscribed, it's a tree falling in an empty forest. If enough people unsubscribe, they'll take notice.

"As a white male, I'm not sure how Saucony expects me to feel right now."
Lmao imagine feeling this aggrieved over this. They certainly didn't expect you to be so offended over donating to a charity and a couple book recommendations. Now THIS is a snowflake. Imagine how bad you felt about this and now multiply it a few times at experiencing racism.

I had no idea this could be so overwhelmingly burdensome for others. I'm shocked you can navigate day-to-day life.
Except many liberals don't. Matter of fact, they relentlessly attack the company with the usual "racist, xenophobic, misogynist...."
The problem isn't always the message. It's the messenger. X message put out. Ok. Liberals: You BETTER listen, like it, and follow in step or we will shut you down and destroy you.
So you're saying the OP should act like this liberal straw man you created and criticized? Brilliant.
You are posting insults. I am surprised that you haven't been banned for a while instead of just having your post deleted.
Wow, OP, I can't imagine how you're feeling rn compared to the way black folks have been treated in the history of this country. Thanks for raising this & finding other people who don't get how raising marginalized voices doesn't have to hurt white folks. It's not an either/or.
Anways, I bought a pair of Saucony's yesterday.

Which party has hearded POCs into inner cities, giving them just enough benefits to keep their vote, but not enough to help them get ahead? . Which party champions abortion that is not only legal, but free? Which community of people does this harm the most? Which party thinks that POC are too dumb to think and speak for themselves? I don't wear Saucony.
Can we just agree that both parties have failed POC? Vote how you want, but it's much better to spread awareness of inequalities/injustices and help out communities directly than counting on a group of politicians.

Riiiiight.
Head on over to any thread regarding a trans individual (Elliot Page or Rachel Levine) and let me know what you find. If those posts can stay up, so can my post.
FWIW, I find someone who makes a fake account just to insult, discriminate, and stir the pot (kinonay) worse than someone who says “sad man with a sad life”.
But, hey, they moderate how they want, and that’s why they have the reputation they have.
I think it's bad business practice to send something out that will be a turn-off to a large number of customers. Maybe you'll get more business from the "woke" crowd, but probably not enough to offset the lost business.
Businesses have the right to communicate whatever they want - freedom of speech and all. But consumers also have the right to be turned off and not buy their products.
I have boycotted Ben and Jerry's for their Defund the Police advertisements. The "woke" messages from businesses annoy me but I won't outright boycott them unless they are truly offensive. To me, truly offensive is anything that lumps all Trump supporters into the white supremacist group.

I want to subscribe just so I can unsubscribe.
Not gonna lie, I would find that annoying as well. I don't mind the donations, but the "suggestions" just seem like woke virtue signalling that doesn't have anything to do with running or their products. If I wanted suggestions for "anti-racism" related content, I would look it up myself or subscribe to social justice related newletters. I just want to hear about running and their products on a newsletter for a running shoe brand. I am not against people engaging with the suggestions if they choose to, so I wouldn't stop buying their products because of this, but I would be turned off by the virtue signalling, particularly by the suggestion of watching something related to Black Panthers though, given that I don't support the violent means some members of that party were involved with. The best way to break down racial bias is to actually engage with diverse groups of people in meaningful ways and try to understand different people's lived experiences and view points which is something that can often be accomplished through participation in track and field. Getting to know people of different races and background will go much further than simply reading woke books etc. and really I just don't subscribe to running newsletters for that kind of content. If their newsletters started to consistently become over-run by non running related content that I wasn't interested in, I would probably just unsubscribe.
Ha ha ha. You got me. Except, I have been posting here for years. Yes, I am a hobby jogger now, but wasn't always. However slow I've become, I still love to run. I'm not "fast" so you and your ilk are and will hate on me. That's ok, I can take it. To you it's hate. To those who choose to think, it's not. Why do you think that its acceptable to attack ROJO?

According to a previous poster, this is virtue signaling!

BTW, my family is almost solely Native American Indian. Are you ready to discuss real oppression??

Eh, I care about this as much as I did when Nike supported Kaepernick kneeling, which is to say not at all. If a company provides decent products then they can say whatever they want (barring some obviously horrific things) and I'll still buy their stuff regardless, it's a free country and I'm not gonna miss out on a whole company's lineup of gear because I can't swallow my objections to a company's politics. As long as Saucony keeps making good stuff and their leadership isn't killing babies, invading the capitol, or destroying their hometown in a riot, they'll still have my business.
+1
I'm always skeptical of any company's political stance. Everything is a calculated move when it comes to advertising. If the general public or the company's market is trending towards more social justice causes or the like, of course the company is going to come out in support of that social cause. Then when Person X who really likes the same cause the company supported is shopping for shoes, they'll think "Hmm, we have the same stance on this issue. I think I'll support this company this time." Suddenly, you've drawn in more customers or caused existing ones to buy more from you.
For me personally, I could care less on a company's political stance, whether contrived for advertising or truthful. Conservative, liberal, or anarcho-monarchist, I could really care less what their opinions are as long as I get good products at a good price. I'm not going to let my agreeing or disagreeing with a company's stance stop me from buying the right product.
The backlash is coming for these corporations embracing wokeness. There is a huge part of the country that does not agree with many of these things they are pushing. Pretty soon you will see conservatives stop supporting these corporations pushing messages that do not reflect their values. These companies will have to decide between the woke and rest. The best policy would be to limit your political bias, but there is a portion of the country that will not accept any neutral stance.

Ditto.
I want my running shoe companies to make running shoes and not recommend BLM/Marxist propaganda that includes an underlying assumption that I'm racist and need these books/films to become anti-racist.
A general MLK holiday email would have been fine but pushing BLM/Marxist materials is a bridge too far. And it contributes to a mentality in this country that BLM/Marxist ideas should be heard and respected - which they shouldn't.
Saucony has put their name behind BLM/Marxists, and a cursory view of history ranging from the Soviet Union to the BLM riots this summer, makes this unacceptable.
I've worn Saucony for over 10 years (4-6 pairs per year) but my next pair will not be Saucony.

What excerpts from How to Be an Antiracist are Marxist propaganda?
