Must be why runners are so skinny.
I agree.
Informal study, sample size n = 1: back when I was into studying hard/focusing for long periods of time, whenever I consumed sugar (soda, cookie, etc), I would always have a more difficult time studying.
Is this supposed to be a surprise? They chased down something so obvious.
If true then E Africans are apparently far more intelligent than most Americans and the majority of posters on this board.
Some mod or other was offended earlier by my true statement that the human brain is mostly made of fat.
Delete it if you want, but it's fat!
I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of US work from home type jobs outsourced to East Africa in the next decade or so.

In your case, it is entirely fat.
You can find "studies" to argue the earth is flat or cc is not connected to human influence.

I'm not sure how this is relevant. The lipid in your brain is not deposited as a result of caloric excess and is not used for energy. So what is your point?

You're denying the science.

A discussion that seeks to reinforce prejudice.
Sorry to break it to you, but it's just the science.

I don’t think you will find any flat earth studies on pubmed. You might find a Wordpress blog or YouTube video though.

It is a selective study - as many such are - that can be refuted by relating the general intelligence of thin populations - like those in parts of Africa - with more affluent Western countries, like the US. Obesity is a problem in the developed world, but it is largely socio-economic and cultural and not a measure of intelligence. If you believe it is, then the average American must be less intelligent than their East African or South Asian counterpart. Avoirdupois is not IQ.
