I can get the Next % Tempo at the same price as the Endorphin Speed. Looking for something similar to the Zoom Fly 3 in terms of cushioning and durability. Which one should I get?

Get the Zoom fly 3s?
The speed is a better all around shoe. Can run in it every day. The next% feels much more like a super shoe, just a little bit heavier and with a bit more support.
You can take the speeds on the track, tough with the tempos. If I could only have one pair of shoes I would take the speeds. If I was planning on using them for tempo runs and long run workouts exclusively on the roads I would go with the tempos.
speeds are very fast and have a better durability, it my opinion they are a better choice.
Tempo Next % is very fast but ridiculously expensive.
If you have the money, consider getting them. If not - go for other shoes.
There is one thing to consider tho - Tempo Next % takes off some loading of your calves/feet compared to other shoes (they work a bit like the VF in that sense, even without the carbon plate).
So if you want to strengthen your lower legs/calves/feet more while training, it might be better to go to a different flat like the Zoom Streak or Takumi Sen or Fasttwitch / TypeA9 and train in them. Then, you will be even faster when you race in the best shoes you have, like a VF!
I am considering the same 2 shoes as a replacement for the peg turbo 2s. I ordered a pair of the speeds, but have yet to run in them. They feel much more firm than the turbos out of the box (not sure how that compares to the zoom fly 3s). I like the softer feel of the zoom x foam so am considering the tempos. I was hesitant since reviews have been mixed...
What do you plan to race in? I plan to race in the next% so the tempos may be a better training match for those.
On the other hand, it might be better to do some training in a stiffer shoe.
I’ve tried on the endorphin pro and to me they feel much different than the next%. A lot firmer and more of a ‘roll’ feeling than a ‘pop’
I use an Endorhpin Pro for workouts and Tempo Next% for long runs and some easy runs.
I like the tempos better for any treadmill or road runs while the Endorphin pros would be preferred on the track. Since all tracks near me are closed I'm leaning towards just using the tempo nexts as an everyday shoe. They have longer durability than the pros, not totally sure how much more durable the speeds are.
Tempo next have been on sale for 150 on some websites for a couple months now so they're cheaper too.
Endorphin Speed without question.
I have two pairs of each and rotate between them.
I echo a lot of what’s been said here, Endorphin Speed is better all-around for an everyday run with the capability of responding to higher paces quite well. The Next % Tempo is just fast. It’s not comfortable at an easy pace for me. (Coming from someone who wore 11 pairs of Zoom Fly Flyknits past 300 miles.)
But when you want to run faster for a long run the Tempo is what I would recommend every time.
Wobby - based on training in those 2 shoes. What would you pick to race in- next% or endorphin pro? For half and/or full
Neither. Go with non cheater shoe brand. Altra

Interested to know this as well. With limited availability of next% I was thinking of going with Endorphin Speed/Pro. Anyone have comparisons with *Width, ride, etc.
fwiw I managed to get a pair of ZoomFlySP from the outlets those run 1 size smaller than Pegasus. Despite being Lunarlon and nylon plate they have some definite mechanical propulsion.
Get the Zoom Fly3
I have both. Next%...
Tempo Next% is a faster shoe, but less versatile and more expensive. Speed also feel better on the foot and while running since they are much lighter and a tad smoother IMO. I have both. I use Speed for LFRs and Tempos are used for faster WOs. Speeds are usable for all types of WOs and even can be used for easy runs, but I wouldn't waste miles using them on easy runs.
