Apparently we'll finally get a season here in the evergreen state. More than likely there will be no final state meet, but just a bunch of regional/district meets. Anyone know what the season will look like exactly? 7 week season doesnt sound thrilling but it's better than nothing.
I'm pretty sure they will run a big meet in Pasco on the State meet course as either a big invitational or an eastside event. Maybe Loren Culp, the guy who lost the Governors race but still hasn't conceded, will show up, unmasked of course, and fire the starter's pistol.

Cmon man, this is high school cross country, leave your politics at the door.
I got an email from my kid’s coach today saying the season will only happen if our region is in phase two of Inslee’s plan.. We are in phase one and the coach said even if we are in phase two he doesn’t feel comfortable having a season. Bummed my kid is losing out because the coach is worried about Covid. Meanwhile other local schools have been practicing all through fall / winter.
I feel bad for Isaac Teeples. Kid could’ve added 3 more state titles between 2020 track and 2020 XC. He can’t get that back.
