I’m JWerble and I did not make this post lmao. My jaw dropped when I saw my name next to those guys, but it should be a fun day to race regardless. Shooting for some 5:20-5:30 miles. Second half marathon
Ego check :)
Is this gonna be live streamed

Seriously, a couple of guys on the podium may 'only' be high-National Class road racers at best...a youtuber sub-elite road racer...
To qualify this, in order to break into the elite International Class of road racers, 35-yr-old DeMoor would need to break 1:04:49 in the Half, per the new 2020 Age-Grade Performance Factors:
http://howardgrubb.co.uk/athletics/mldrroad20.htmlUnder the 2010 Age-Grade Factors, he would have 'only' needed to break 1:06:18.
Interesting factoid, Bill Rodgers was still International Class (under the 2020 Factors) at the age of 49 with at least this race:
10 Miles Road 52:22 Washington, DC (USA) 13 APR 1997 2020 Age-Grade: 93%
Rodgers' 1:23:50 in the 25 Kilometres on 10 MAY 1997 just missed International Class under the 2020 Factors.
Down from the mountains, the hay is in the barn, and the Bobo's are ready to be buttered. And, True Love has sent Seth's mom to Florida as a chaperone, making sure no bikini beach babes will accidentally end up in the hotel room.
Yes, Expect Great Things!!!
Onward and Upward! ?

Participant Tracking can be found here:
https://runsignup.com/Race/FindARunner/?raceId=4426I just watched today's vlog. When he was suggesting to the kids a potential Andy's Run when he returned, I thought he might be getting a little ahead of himself, until he qualified it with " if we get that PR or fly the W".
If Stinson shows up, I was thinking he may run alone, with the bike pacers. However, maybe he hangs back for a while to assure a payday.

And I didn't look close enough to see if any potential east-african ringers were entered.
If Parker Stinsons the first 10K and blows-up the final 10K will this give Seth a possible podium finish?

Who are these older runners and what are their seed times?
I'm more excited about this race than the Brady vs. Brees matchup later in the day.
Although, not super-excited about either.
Seth should cary his phone during the race and Livestream it for his fans.

One of them almost took Dykes down here in last year's race for Grand Senior Master. Of course Gene is 10 years older but still, a 1:25 1/2 in your 60s is impressive. Gene is slated to run again tomorrow and may or may not be making a record attempt. I think he missed it last year by 12 seconds. Windy as heck here now, but tomorrow looks ideal.
His plans to not Stinson this race.
"I'm in good shape to go execute," he said. "But not rip the race from the gun like I like to do."
I hope he knows he shouldn't be in with a chance for the W, especially if Stinson is on form on the day.
Surely he is a smart enough guy to look at the field and he knows. Hope he mentions this in tomorrow's vlog, otherwise he will get carried away and blow up.
After reading that article, it appears Stinson is indeed going to hang back, at least for a while, so we could have some guys working together, shooting for 1:04-1:05's.

Interesting! Since you're there, if you think about it, please let us know what shoes Dykes and Stinson are in. I've seen photos of Dykes in Brooks, but also VaporFly's. (I wonder if Nike feeds him discount shoes, at his level.) We know DeMoor will be in the VaporFly's.
I wonder if Ed Whitlock would have run in VaporFly's, and what effect they would have had on his records.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.

I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
