I am a junior in high school and want to have a great track season. I currently run about 55-60 miles a week and am doing a lot of threshold and tempo runs right now. Since covid, we probably won't have any meets until mid April so I'm curious as to when I should start incorporating V02 max work. I have been training since mid November so I'm almost 2 months into base. Also what are your guy's thoughts about longer tempos such as 8 or so miles at marathon pace. As I am a little more fast twitch oriented I would like to work on my endurance.
