I'm a 4:3- miler.
What if I go out and run 4:20 pace or so on the track until I start slowing down and then stop? I'm thinking about doing this workout 2-3 times in a day (because I can, and need to get in a respectable workload for a workout). My house is 3/4ths of a mile away from the school track so I'll also be getting in some extra aerobic work. This adds up to almost 4.5-6.75 miles of running and some good quality work!
After each time I perform this workout, I should be able to keep increasing the distance at which I run 4:20 at a comforting pace. I think this is the greatest idea I've ever come up with.
Thoughts?
