Everything looks surreal to me right now...
We definitely overreacted to a virus that scientists once thought was super deadly, then found out not to be super deadly unless you were 80. The long term effects from this overreaction will be playing out for a long long time.
On top of that throw in massive migration from third world countries to first world countries, substantial disruption of traditional working roles by technology, clashing religious and cultural ideologies, and a serious division between those who think more government is the best answer to everything and those who think more government is the worst answer to almost everything, and we are building into some very chaotic and tumultuous times before a new equilibrium is reached. As we used to say on patrol, "stay alert and keep your head on a swivel!"
