I know the title sounds pretty stupid, but I couldn't find a good 2 mile training plan for free online. I normally train for 5K's, because I am a high school XC runner. Due to COVID, there is no indoor or outdoor track, so I plan to train by myself. Originally, I was going to train for the 2 mile, but could not find any plan to base my training off of. So, I found Hal Higdon's cross country training plan: www.halhigdon.com/cross-country. I was wondering if training using this plan would be good for a 2 mile training plan. If not, what would you recommend? I have 20 weeks until the beginning of our summer practices for XC. I was thinking about repeating the 10 week plan twice. For the "road races," I was going to do 2 mile time trials, and for the "XC races," 5K time trials. Any advice?
