So not only do I run a PR FINALLY in the 10 yard dash the other day. But I tied it 3 times. PR up till this point was .78 hand timed.
Ran .75, .75, .75, and .78, .81, .83, and .85 to back it all up. The .78 was a PR for probably close to 2 years I think. I'll have to get the exact specifications on that by going through my training notes. It gets better. I not only get the all time PR.
But I do it in 1.75 full pounds of clothing. I had a long sleeve shirt, spandex pants, and a heavy snow cap. There was no wind.
And did it in 46 degree weather. I calculated I was .21 of a second faster in the 35yds in cold and rain this past summer to hot weather so I don't have the exact calculations on the potentiality of the 10 yard dash if I had ran it in 93 degree heat, humidity, and a legal 2.0 meters per second tail wind. But i'm going to go with a conservative .06 of a second faster than the .75.
So potentially a .69 in heat right now. Nothing has changed on hack squats, (still at 452.5, max is 462.5), so i'm shaking my head on how i'm doing this right now. I'm guessing it's because my tendons are healing from distance running from 1993-2015 and becoming more fast twitched and explosive.
And the running back training is really starting to crank up. Or it could be because i'm getting my calves stronger. But really need to keep PRing in the 10 to get everything else faster. Also came within .06 of my PR in the 20. Ran 2.00 compared to 1.94 but that was in 27 degree weather. Also did 3.75 just the other day as well in the 35. Pr on that is 3.69.
