3-mile CC? You sound like IL runner.
The soph times were excellent.
How did you come up with 4:16 and 1:56?
I am not saying you are wrong, but there are those in better weather running in CC races and in track meets (or TTs) and getting their times posted.
What did you do your junior year? Any TTs?
With your GPA, if you anticipate being focused on academics while in college, seek out the top schools and see what they say.
If you don't anticipate being as focused on academics, then there are very good schools (ranked 20-40) that should be great for you.
If your goal with this thread is to induce a scholarship offer from an elite school, I wonder if this is the correct path.
I had sports cancelled my senior year, so I had very little interest from coaches for scholarships, and I turned down the couple that I did get from smaller schools.
I walked-on to a top D1 program, but the asst coach who led the team to the top got replaced just before I arrived, and the new asst coach was not good enough. I should have gone somewhere else to have a successful NCAA career. As it was, I was thwarted in my career and rather than transfer after the 1st year, I worked a year and came back to a new coach, but that was three track seasons gone.
Therefore, if the great asst coach had still been at the D1 program, I would have had a great 1st year and probably got a scholarship, because I was expected to be one of the best my senior year in HS.
However, in hindsight, I should have gone somewhere else or taken one of the scholarships offered.
I didn't care about grades. With your grades, and with the way the job markets have evolved, where you graduate from will make a big difference in your career prospects.
