He said time wasn't on his mind for the 5k race, he just wanted to win so he just followed the pace of the others and then dropped them at the end.
For the 10k, he just wanted to help a friend that wanted to run a 31:30, but then his friend told him he wanted to run alone just before the race started.
So he went with the leaders and ended up 3rd place in 28:13.

Definitely but I think for now he is preparing for 2021 Olympics.
I think he will be able to get the 5k and 10k Olympic standard.
IMO in the Olympics he'll be in 13:07-09 shape, and 27:20-22 shape.
Which will most likely be far from enough for a medal, but still... he's going up over time.
