Did a workout on a muddy golf course today. The footing was bad, so l was off on each rep a little, but the effort was there and l felt fine. Does that take away from the workout? For example you had a workout scheduled of 12x 400, but the footing was bad and it was very muddy, so you hit each rep about 5 or 7 seconds off. I felt good, but it was just very sloppy. Does that take away from the workout? Is it just as good as running on a clear indoor track somewhere, but running 5 to 7 seconds faster because you don't have to run though muddy, soggy grass, that your shoes sink into?
