FULL zoomX. I’m pumped about this shoe.
Any wear testers out there with some pre-release tidbits?

Not the Zoom I expected to see when opening the thread.
Without a carbon fiber plate, I have a hard time imagining how this would have any kind of stability or responsiveness.
Meh.
Releases Jan 7 (Thursday) on Nike.com. Why anyone buys from running warehouse is beyond me.

Probably it's the great selection, closeout deals, customer service, return policy and presentation of information about shoes and other gear. Maybe that's just me, though.
Hell yeah! I'm looking log a TON of miles in 2021. This shoe looks awesome for that.
What kind of durability can we expect for the ZoomX foam? Can i get 400 miles on this shoe?
I've had nothing but horrible customer service, have been shipped used product, their order process if convoluted at best... Feels like e-commerce on the internet circa 1999.
Not sure if I would be a taker on these. I've got Peg 37, Infinity React FN and Zoom Tempo N%.
I should probably ignore all messages and delete my Nike app on phone Jan 7th just to be safe.
Yes I'm a tester for v2 of these which has some slight differences that I won't get into.
I only have 90 miles or so on my pair. They're a bit heavy, so don't think of it as a lightweight trainer. It's a junk miles shoe. Easy long runs, easy runs, recovery runs.
It is a bit clumsy, and I've run in Hokas quite a bit. You adapt to that though
Most of the miles I've put into the shoe so far are right around 6:40-7:10/mi. nothing fast yet but I wouldn't expect it to be a tempo shoe for me. It's like a more responsive Hoka Bondi.
I won't comment on the fit because I have a prototype and you don't really know if that's accurate or not. It's gonna be roomy though

Different strokes for different folks, of course, but.....it's surprising to me that one could get excited about a shoe that looks like that. Like a clunky, probably not-too-light stability shoe from the 80s or 90s. Better than that, I know, but....I'll bet not nearly a Peg Turbo. They get rid of the Peg Turbo, and leave us with alternatives like this? Par for the course with shoe companies, but continues the long history of puzzling decisions about models. Make a great shoe. DON'T find a suitable or superior replacement. And get rid of great shoe. Geez.
