Probably 35 high. and 7:30-8:15 pace
Just under 30 and average would be about 7:30-7:40 pace. Read wejo's "Why I Sucked in College" because it is also why I sucked in college.
36 high, 9:00 mins / mile easy pace
Mid 31's. I try to keep all my runs under 7:00 but every now and then you need a nice 7:30 day.
33-high. 7:00-7:30. Sometimes I float a little faster or a little slower. Very rare that mile 1 on an easy day is faster than 7:30. Usually end up sub-7 by the end unless I'm super beat without feeling like I'm increasing the effort.
33, 7:10-7:50 depending on the stage of training, mileage and intensity of the workout. Most typical is 7:25-7:35.
29:52
Easy pace was around 6:30-6:45 on flat terrain like the day after a race.
I tended to not run "easy" runs that much. I usually trained at 5:30-6:15 pace.
Now?
You know that "rest" part where you jog between intervals? Yeah, that would be running pace now for a 3 mile run and it wouldn't be easy to maintain.
29:40
6:45, in my 20's when in peak marathon shape was around 6:15.
36:00, 7:50
This is a great thread. Good to see some top runners properly running easy. I see so many c. 40 min racing their easy runs at sub 8 pace with no clue,
so THATS why usian bolt ran the world record! it all makes sense now
38:33
9 - 10 min/mile
31 high from a couple of years ago
5:50-6:35 pace at the time
I'm in way better shape now (guessing 30 low, definitely sub 31) and most days are 6:55-7:55 now.
800/Mile guy, so don’t judge me too hard, but I should be at around 33-34
6:50-7:15 pace for 5 miles or less, 7:00-7:45 for anything more. If I’m too fried to run that fast then I figure I shouldn’t be running at all and I cross train instead.
HR varies between 145-160 bpm for a guy that maxes out somewhere around 205
45 mid, about 10 mpm easy pace on flat ground, slower on hills

32:05 10K, typically run my easy days between workouts between 7:30 and 8:30 pace. Sometimes a little slower if I am running with my wife (35:46 10K).
Ran 28:36 2 weeks ago. 7:30 pace is fine for me. You think I get any benefit by picking up my "easy run" to 6:00min pace? Absolutely not. Run slow to run fast

4'20"-4'30" per Kilometre.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
