Have not been training for a marathon but did the below run in training today on tired legs (no taper and 70 miles last week and an 80 mile week this week). The run was done in trainers, clifton 7s, not a carbon plate shoe. What time would be a good target for a race? I think I could have continued to drop 6:30-6:40 pace for 5 or more miles but hard to say what I would have felt like on fresh legs.
20.21 miles: 2:18:15 (@6:50)
First 10 mile split: 1:11:33 (@7:09)
Second 10 mile split: 1:05:30 (@6:33)
The last 10k was done in 39:39 (@6:23)
