Ok maybe I shouldn't have done this but I was feeling a little aggressive about this so I posted a second comment like "I said happy birthday" in response to my first comment. Nothing yet, but I'll see what happens. I figure if she gets mad it doesn't matter because she was already blowing me off but if she likes my initiative it could be a good thing. Can't hurt, might help kind of thing.
Jeez, I can see why she's creeped out by you...
This! It's likely not the first time you've done something that's completely strange and creepy with the opposite gender. How many other times have you felt "a little aggressive" when it involved a girl you liked and ended up looking like a weirdo?

don't listen to steve, maybe she just needs a third comment for the notifications to reach her.
It's best to stay off Facebook.

It could be that her notifications aren’t working correctly. It is obvious that he should be truly alpha and comment on every one of her Facebook posts explaining (in a standard five paragraph essay with an introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion) about how she was rude to not like his post about wishing her a happy birthday.

After further review, this really is the only way to be sure.

what is it with men and not being able to take a hint? seriously. leave this poor girl alone, and go for a run or something.
Christ alive, I think my sperm count dropped a little just reading this. Jesus
She probably was just quickly scrolling through and liking all of the posts. Not liking yours was inadvertent. She could have missed anyone’s but it happened to be yours. I have done the exact same thing. Definitely delete your second comment ASAP.
I used to be like you and worry about this kind of thing in high school and most of college. Good looking guy (everyone said so) with severe social anxiety disorder. It wasn’t until some time into my late 20s when I grew up and took the attitude like hey if that person doesn’t wanna go out with me then F it who knows what her problem is and who cares. Eventually you learn to play it like a numbers game. (Post covid )You can go on online dating sites and get a casual date (coffee or beer) every Fri/Sat/Sun morning/night. Most times it won’t work out after the first or second date no matter what you did or didn’t do. F*Ck it though it’s gonna happen. If I were you I wouldn’t waste time with girls you may know from school. Most of them are really immature and go for popular jock guys or guys involved in Greek life etc, not the xc/track athlete (at least not in my experience). So yeah as you get older as a man and into the 20s,30s, and 40s (assuming you’re successful career wise, stay fit, and have your head on straight) you’re going to have tons of options when it comes to the chicks my friend

Yes thinking way too much. Just get off Facebook entirely for awhile if it’s bothering you
This is the way.

Can we all stop reading this thread now please?
The only way to find out is to publicly confront her about it with a Facebook post of your own on her wall.

Don't you think the rejection(s) came first? Otherwise it seems like the first girl to reject him did so because she "knew" he'd act weird after she rejected him.
On to the next one 3/10
She’s just playing hard to get. Slide into her dm’s. Bold prediction for 2021: you will have fathered a child with her by EOY
Alvin, your new persona isn’t any better than your last one. Your trolling material is lame and uncreative.
She did it on purpose. For whatever reason, she's noticed you're into her and doesn't feel the same way and doesn't want to have an awkward conversation/break your heart. The easiest thing to do is to stop talking to her until you're over her, trust me, you'll thank yourself you did it once you're over her.
