Ran a Time Trial today on the track with 15mph wind that made it almost impossible to go fast. Wanted to go through the first 800 in 215 and roll but the pacer went through 400 in 69 then dropped so I ended up going through in 222 then negative split the final 800 in 220 all alone to get 4:42. I know I could have run much faster without the wind and with someone to run with. What could I have run without the 15mph wind destroying me? Is it reasonable to say that I should be able to go sub 430 in the spring? I came into this time trial off of running 1619 in Xc and having done 0 speed work since last spring. Last year I ran 443 indoor after running 1715 in Xc. What should I target in spring (looking to get good times for recruiting). I can provide more training stuff below if needed
