and fun to drive

You are right, but this is not a controversial opinion. They look sharp, much better than most or all of their competitors. The only current SUVs which look better than Mazdas, in all but the most rariefied price points, are Volvos. But again, this is not controversial. Yes, the CX-9 looks nicer than a Honda Pilot. Not going out on a limb there.

Ok. I didn't say it was controversial. I WILL disagree with you about the Volvos though. I don't like them at all.
Mazda Millenia is kind of like an inexpensive luxury car. I used to drive one (my dads).
The Mazda SUVs are nice looking. Near the head of the class (but that's pretty weak competition). The sedans are a different story, though. The 3 is nice enough, but the 6 is a styling disaster -- clownishly large wheels, and a weird, flattened-out body shape like a fat person's worn-out slipper (or maybe a potato chip). Of course they barely sell any of the 6 anyway.
Anyone who doesn't understand that the Accord sedan is far better visually than the Mazda 6 is just delusional. Or, like Flagpole, is unable to admit when they're wrong.
I agree that the Accord looks better than the Mazda 6.
I also think the Kia Telluride is the better looking than any Mazda SUV.
Looks are subjective. I prefer SUVs that look more like a truck than a crossover. I would also say the Chevy Tahoe is better looking and although Chevy is typically not a luxury brand, the Tahoe is expensive.
You don't need any bigger than a Mazda 3. SUVs are lame.
Father of 3.
I mean, it's a matter of personal preference, so I'm not going to change your mind (nor do I care to), but I think most people would turn their heads for a Ferrari or a Lambo before they'd turn their head for a Mazda.
I agree. Body panels could use more interesting articulations. Could use glossy plastic for bumpers and wheel wells or just metal.
Interiors aren't bad. I have a Miata. I do not like it. The romance wore off pretty quickly. Had a z3, that was amazing. It's like champagne vs sparkling.
Could easily go hyundai or kia and save money. Cars are similar. Hyundai interiors are nicer.
I prefer not to deal with the car option piece meal crap. Volvo sells compete car or at least they used to last time I bought one.
Not a fan of their huge, forward sloping grills. I think the styling is way overdone. Also, imagine getting hit by one of these things as a runner. A lot of pedestrians are gonna get smushed or cut in half while the driver is busy playing with the huge infotainment screen. All in the name of styling and convenience.
Kia
I think they’re great looking.
I wish to match their sporty look, make their cars RWD and have AWD as options.
I just love the feel of RWD or RWD-based AWD or I even like Subaru’s symmetrical AWD feel.
I hate the FWD based AWD and therefore tend to stay away from Mazda’s or other Asian non-luxury cars. I know Miata is RWD, but that’s it.
I've been a Mazda man for about the last 30 yrs. A couple of years ago, I bought a CX-3 Touring model. Awesome car and I'm totally happy with it.
Can't beat the Toyota FJ40 for pure utilitarian styling.

What did you think you would like that wound up disappointing? I'm looking at the FIAT variant.
It's pretty obvious... unless you're talking about a well done 4Runner. Yeah, CX-5s and 9s look very sharp and good.

Yeah, I have an 07 Mazdaspeed 3 which is still super fun to drive and I have 3 kids. A bit tight in the back for them but not terrible
Franz VonHolshausen, my spelling is probably totally off, was a lead designer at Mazda before going to Tesla. The Tesla Model S has many similar design elements to Mazda’s sedans of the time.
They don’t look better than a Jeep Wrangler.
