About Time
3000 miles to Graceland... just pulls at the heartstrings. Howie Long is incredible.
My Dog Skip
We Bought A Zoo. I've watched the final scene 15 times and tell myself "okay, THIS time I won't cry." And then I do. The scene involves humans, not animals.
Stand by me
Cinema Paradiso
Gladiator- the last 10 minutes always gets me even after watching it dozens of times.
The Green Mile- I mean cmon
Marley and me - Don't know why but I specifically remember being in tears. 8 or so years ago i think.
1917 - Scene where the german crashes his plane and stabs the other guy and then he slowly dies in his arms. That got me good.
I'm sure there are others
Coco, I probably welled up 5 times before it was over.
Titanic, couldn’t stop crying for days.
"mask" starring cher and eric stoltz. i dare you not to cut onions.
Bang the Drum Slowly
^^ I remember liking that one a lot but not much more than that.
Manchester By the Sea
Any movie where a dog dies. Old Yeller, Marley & Me, etc. Only other movie where I cried was in Avengers Endgame when Tony died. Kind of bittersweet. RDJ started that whole Marvel Cinematic Universe with the first two Iron Man movies
Ok, I'm an emotional wreck when I get into movies sometimes and there's a great list already started....
Dead Poets Society
Up
Elephant Man
Gladiator end scene
It's a Wonderful Life
Etc...
A couple others that I can relate to...
Chariots of Fire when Harold Abrahams realized what drove Eric Liddel and wondered how he could beat a man with such conviction.
Hoosiers end scene with the kid bouncing the ball in an empty gym and the state champion team pic on the wall and the coaches voice echoing "I love you guys"
Not to mention the locker room prayer before the Championship Game. "And David reached into the bag and withdrew a stone....
Here's a weird one....No Country for Old Men. When Tommy Lee Jones visits his father in a broken down old trailer.... The conversation they had was a reflection of a broken relationship but they still loved each other.
Ever since I was a little kid...The Little Drummer Boy. All he had to give was to play his drum for Him with all of his heart..
Marley and Me
A Dog's Purpose
I've cried at plenty but the first one I ever cried at was Terminator 2 when when Arnold gives the thumbs up while being lowered into the molten lava or whatever. We were at a drive in and it was hell trying to hide it from my dad and sister.
fake guy wrote:
Dear Zachary: a letter to his son about his father.
Documentary.
I’ve watched them all. This is the saddest movie of all time.
Thank me later. Lol
Came to the thread just to say this. I can't recommend it enough.
Titanic (I was 7)
Bridge to Terabithia (admittedly I got caught out by this one, I thought it was a feel-good fantasy movie)
