Just felt like coming on here to remind everyone to BE CAREFUL. Because it's so easy to get injured. The other day after my run I was skateboarding, which I usually do often because I enjoy it and it's good cross-training. Well, really just by chance I fell, maybe cause of a pebble I'm not sure, and boom fractured bone next to my elbow. Though I may be able to get back to running in a couple of weeks, it's crazy how much I hate not running. It drives me crazy. I was really fit too, and had just hit 75 for the week with a great 15 mile long run at 6:40 pace. Now if I try running of course my arm will move and it not only hurts but sets back my healing. All I'm saying is that if you do something that could get you hurt, maybe try to stop it. I like skating, but I could live without it if it means I can run safe from risk of simple injury. Mentally, injuries suck alot more than they do physically. Be careful out there, with covid too, and cherish running. Feel free to share a similar story if you want.
