The only question that might interest me is if you asked, "am I insane because I keep trying to put every discussion into words that will satisfy my prior conclusions?" But that would show self-awareness and suggest a degree of sanity that presently is lacking. So in the meantime you continue with a process that must fail while expecting a different conclusion - the very definition of insanity. But that is you and Jon.
Do you think I post for your entertainment?
It is curious that you've lost interest in the topics you brought into the thread, ultimately declaring them irrelevant despite all the questions they raise.
I had no prior conclusions about different breathing rates post-exercise of EPO users versus non-EPO users. I honestly hadn't given it much thought -- one of the reasons and motivations to see if further reading material exists.
The process I try to use is the scientific process, which includes things like controlled observations and measured data and external reviews. This generally works in many domains, when applied correctly, and is used by the experts in the field I asked you to point me to.
I wouldn't have said that this process "must fail" when attempting to ask you to apply it, but I cannot argue with your self-assessment and pessimism in your own ability to hold yourself to such a standard.
