typical you blame the 'system' but not the individual behavior , decision or (criminal ) actions; every person incarcerated, in jail or in prison, is entitled to and has had legal representation, a trial, a sentence, and an appeal if they want one. whatever 'trauma' they may allegedly suffer while incarcerated, is their punishment . of course if they need or want counseling or help when they get out, thats a good thing, but neither you nor ajee has yet given any proof of any 'mass incarceration'. actually now in many cities and states folks who get arrested dont even have to go to jail, dont have to make bail or bond, and if they do get into jail, they get out quickly, thats why the crime rate in many cities is increasing dramatically.the fact is that most folks arrested and incarcerated are guilty, most will return to criminal behavior when they get out. if ajee or anyone can stop the recidivism, well thats good, no?
its easy to be an arm chair liberal/progressive when yo haven't been victimized by criminals.
