Are we talking about the girls team with 4 transfers in its top 7?
Why so jealous, I keep seeing this transfer stuff. If kids and parents want the best coaching and a place their kids can be successful so be it. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes from other coaches in the County that can't get the job done. Can't beat them so attack them, in a forum where you can remain anonymous.
This post isn't about that....but it seems the bitter people in the room want to make it about that.
Agreed. Not sure why people get so worked up over "transfers." Families move. When families move, they decide where to live based on a number of factors, including schools. If you are moving to the DC area and you are looking for a suburban neighborhood with good schools and your kid is a runner, LV would seem like a pretty reasonable choice of places to buy a home. Pretty easy to understand how the school could end up with a lot of transfers without actively recruiting or doing anything nefarious.
Families move all the time for reasons having nothing to do with athletics. If you really examined the roster of just about any random team at any middle-class high school, you'd find transfers. Not because anyone is recruiting kids or because parents are moving solely for athletics, but because people get new jobs and they generally take their kids with them when they move. This is even more true for a town where the population largely consists of military and other government employees.
